"This house was deceptively huge. It just kept going and going to the back with bedroom after bedroom. Plenty of open space for family gathering time, lots of nice amenities (games, TV, outdoor wrap around deck). Parking can be a little challenging as the driveway runs up the hill, opposite of traffic, but we were able to back in which made exiting easier. Easy walk to the Marina and beach (we were there in Winter so this would be great in the summer). All amenities in the house were provided as promised, and check in/out was super simple. Heard from the host 2-3 days ahead of trip which was perfect. With effectively 4 master bedrooms and a room with two bunks, this is a great place for multiple families to share Roger and Tara F"

"Great house, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The driveway is very steep, but doable. Perfect house for a lot of people to stay. Great area for the kids to play. Lots of seating especially if you take advantage of the multiple decks and outdoor areas. Convenient to the amenities of Groveland, and easy access to the lake. "

"Great place and I highly recommend it for people who are totally ambulatory and mobile. Steep driveway, lots of stairs and short toilets place was very welcoming for visiting and had everything you need there. Air conditioner worked well, which was highly appreciated because of the very hot weather very close to the marina"

"We make an annual summer trip to PML, and the Wissink’s lovely home allowed us to enjoy another fabulous year! Warren and Ruth provided all the amenities we’d need during our stay as well as excellent communication and resolution for a few outdoor critter visits we experienced. "The good, bad, and ugly. My comments are based on the cost vs. value exchange. First Pine Mountain Lake is the hidden gem very few know about. The location on the water is good and in a private cove. The assortment of games/ ping pong/pool provides good entertainment. The kitchen had all the tools and even supplied propane. The bad is we may have been the first rental of the season, and we had to replace 4 light bulbs (the lights in the living room and kitchen are inadequate) the GFI reset in the garage (once you found it) did not work, the grill was dirty, and the large deck (recently upgraded!) and furniture covers were not cleaned before arrival. The driveway down to the home is steeper than Filmore Street in SF with a scary turn and decent. The upstairs air conditioning did not cool properly compared with the rest of the home. The ugly. Two items: despite incurring a substantial cleaning fee, the checklist for leaving the property essentially asked the guest to do ALL the cleaning, garbage, and dishes except for the linens/sheets. Second, I was confirmed twice by Red Awning, paid for a pet, denied by Yosemite Region Resorts, then submitted ESA paperwork, and again denied as they were no longer allowing ESAs. This was due to confusion about the terms/conditions of Red Awning vs. Yosemite Resorts. Overall this was a good experience. Fix these the issues mentioned, install a few upgrades, provide better pricing, and we may rent for a week."
