"The property is exactly as pictured. The water acce. There ate 2 dogs on a near by property that are litter mates and play but they are trained for an invisible fence and were no worry when we walked our dog past. I wish we could have enjoyed the outside more but were were there for Thanksgiving and the weather was cold. The cabin stays toasty warm. This shouldn't even be called a cabin, it was gorgeous!ss would be wonderful in warmer months."

"The layout of the cabin was great, with separate living areas, so the kids in our group could have their own gathering spot separate from the adults, but within ear range. A nice surprise was the fire table on the back deck. The fire pit was too damp to use with all the rain we had, but the table provided a nice alternative."

"Three brothers and two wives met at the Lake House for the Sand Hill Crane Festival in Birchwood. First, the festival was so interesting and fun and a must do if you like birds. Second, the cabin was fabulous! It was a cold weekend but the fireplace kept us cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable; the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and utensils; the view of the dock and lake were fabulous. We saw hundreds of sand hill cranes closer up than at the festival viewing site! It was too cold...

"This cabin is beautiful and immaculately maintained. My friends slept in the bedroom downstairs and I was in the loft. I have back problems and the bed was so comfortable! Check-in was so easy, and the instructions were detailed and easy to understand. The directions were also easy to understand. We loved the decor and the signs in the laundry made us smile. "Our cabin was just perfect - clean, comfortable, well-equipped. The property is beautiful. We love to go to the mountains every fall to hike, and there is a mile+ hike to a beautiful overlook site on the property. We were close to Rock Island State Park, Savage Gulf State Park, and Fall Creek Falls, so there were lots of options for hiking and beautiful scenery. The hosts were fantastic, available for any issues that arose (the gate malfunctioned one day). Highly recommend this property!"

"We had such a great stay at this cabin, thank you Brent for sharing it with us! Pictures don't do a justice! Great views, fire pit, amazing (super clean!) grill, well stocked kitchen, three bedrooms/ two bathrooms, comfortable living room, all possible streaming apps - we watched a lot of movies and hockey games (Go Bolts!). It was such a great relaxing stay for us, different from crazy busy vacations we used to take. Walmart is a short drive (7 mins) so location of the cabin is great - you feel...
