"The good: Villa was very clean up on arrival. The beds are comfortable. The mini-split heat/AC worked well, although we didn't need it much. The villas all sit on top of a hill, with spectacular views. The food at the restaurant on the property is some of the best in the area, and you will struggle to beat the price. "The apartment was very spacious and filled with beautiful antiques. The four of us had plenty of room to spread out. The views and locations were magnificent- close enough to town but quiet. "Nice quiet spot in the woods but very close to San Gimignano. Very clean. Comfortable beds. They don’t provide towels or soaps, but that is clear up front. You can rent towels if you want and they sell soap/ shampoo in the office. "

"Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were clean. A tea towel and dishwashing sponge / washing up liquid would have been useful, but the chalet was otherwise well equipped for basic cooking. Nice pizzeria and mini market on site with fresh bread and croissants daily as well as most other essential items. Good sized swimming pool - swimming hats compulsory but sold cheaply at the pool bar. Buses into Sienna stop near the site entrance - night buses back are a bit confusing though!
