"The villa is situated about an hour and a half from Chania airport. The journey is easy but there is a short period of an off road track just before you get to the villa. The villa was exactly as it looks in the pictures. The owner Nickolaos was absolutely lovely, he made sure we had arrived safely and had left a few essentials at the villa for us on arrival. "We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Villa Gaia. The villa was clean and spacious with fantastic outside space. It was in a quiet, rural location however was still convenient for local restaurants, supermarkets and the beach and there were many things to do within an hour’s drive (including the airport). Zacharias was a generous and kind host. He insisted on meeting us at the villa despite us not arriving until after midnight. I would highly recommend a stay here."
