Come relax and unwind in over 4,000 Sq. Ft of luxury on beautiful Sandpoint peninsula overlooking Saginaw Bay.

Note going forward June, July and August full week rentals will be Friday to Friday.

This exquisite Mediterranean styled luxury lake house is perfect for a getaway with family and friends. It has a breathtaking floor to ceiling view of the beautiful sand beach and bay. Guests can also enjoy the view from 2 spacious master bedrooms and over 50 feet of private sandy beach. The nightly sunset is a must see while enjoying a private bonfire!

The exquisite furnishings and relaxed atmosphere creates a vacation paradise for any guest. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the kitchen essentials to make you feel at home. No need to worry about linens and towels, we provide those too! There is a washer/dryer available and guests can enjoy watching TV on 2 large flat screens along with internet WIFI access. We recently upgraded the internet service to a high speed offering from Comcast. The added amenities will ensure every guest enjoys their stay at the Luxury Lake House.

There are 2 TVs, one is located in the bonus room and one in the basement. Both TVs are equipped with Amazon Fire Sticks. You will have to use your own streaming subscriptions to watch live TV and any other streaming services.

The Top Level: 2 master bedrooms (queens) overlooking the bay. The top level also has two additional bedrooms (queen and 3 singles) along with bonus room over the garage (2 trundle beds, single bed – sleeps 5). The master bedrooms have private full bathrooms with showers. There is an additional full bathroom on this level with 2 sinks and private shower area.

The Main Levels: Fully equipped entry level kitchen, bathroom, large sunken living room, wet bar area and walk out to the deck area with grill.

The Lower Level: Finished basement with flat screen, Amazon Fire Stick, Cable TV and full bathroom.

*** September 2019 we upgraded internet and added Comcast cable to the basement TV.

The Outdoor Areas: The outdoor patio area has chairs and dining table. The lower deck has lounge chairs and the beach area has chairs as well.

This home is conveniently located just a few miles southwest of Caseville, Michigan and about 23 miles southwest of Port Austin, Michigan. Crescent Beach Road is a quiet street on Sandpoint peninsula that juts out into Saginaw Bay. Caseville and Port Austin host numerous festivals throughout the year for guests to enjoy. There are also many water sports and sightseeing opportunities available. Below is a list of a few nearby attractions and activities.

Great place for our large family of 10 to stay! Big enough to accommodate all the kids ranging in ages 10-28 but cozy enough that we were all able to stay connected and hang out together. Beautiful views!

We had a wonderful time and the house is beautiful! There was plenty of room for everyone, kitchen was stocked, bar area was nice and the kids loved using the paddle boards. We enjoyed swimming and the beach everyday during our stay. I would definitely go back!

This was our fourth Christmas and fifth stay at this property. It has become an every other Christmas tradition for us. It is well situated for our purposes, roomy enough for all of us and a relaxing place to get together for the Christmas holiday.

Beautiful location, lots of room on multiple floors. Great beach! House is amazing. As stated in other reviews there are stairs which could be worriesome for toddlers and elderly. 5 stars for sure. Communication was excellent.

Great Beach House
This was a great house for three generations at the beach. The home has a well equipped kitchen and we loved the dining table which seats 12 people. The basement media room was used by the teens when we were not out fishing and swimming. The paddle boards and kayaks were in use everyday. The water is shallow and therefore warmer than many beaches on the Great Lakes. We had a wonderful week!

First Time In Sand Point MI
This is a beautiful place right on lake Huron, plenty of room for our family of 11, A great place to eat is Lefty's in Caseville, Farmer markets every Saturday in Caseville and Port Austin. Wallmart and Meijers in Bad Axe. Nature lovers paradise, as there are a lot of deer that run free in the area, there were two fawns in the lot across the road, we could watch them play from the front porch every morning. lots of places to bike ride. Mini golf in Caseville. Great golf courses close by. The Host Fred Mommersteeg was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommed this beautiful place and would love to go back.

Beautiful home!
Everyone at our family reunion was impressed with this property. The long table seated all comfortably for meals and games. The kitchen was nice and large. The bedroom layout worked well, and all the bathrooms are nicely done as pictured. The large windows provide a constant lake view. All enjoyed the outdoor area kayaking, paddle boarding or just relaxing. It was fun exploring the area on our bikes. We saw several beautiful sunsets that lingered on the water before we gathered for a campfire or games. We appreciated Fred's prompt responses to any questions and returning our security deposit the day after we left. A week to remember!

A Family affair!
This house and our experience far exceeded what we were expecting. This house was stocked with everything you could ever need and had the most beautiful access to Lake Huron. Perfect layout for multiple families, tons of water and beach activities accessible too! My two tweens said, “this is the best lake house and the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever been on!” We were looking for a laid back, easy trip on our favorite Great Lake. If you’re looking for a place to just hang in the water on the beach, relax and play cards- this is it! Our family is from Lansing and Detroit and this was the perfect spot between for us to stay! Just a short 8 minute drive to Caseville for groceries or ice cream. A beautiful 30 minute scenic drive to Port Austin. I 100% would stay here again!

Safety concerns
We all know Sand Point is beautiful, sunsets and night sky was amazing as always, but this is definitely not a home for older folks or young children. The balcony over the beach is totally unsafe, no vertical rungs to keep kids from crawling under seats and falling 15’ to the beach below. The 4 step entrance stairs have no handrail, difficult for older folks or anyone w hip issues. The 2 bedrooms facing the water have a 2 step stairway to a very small landing. No handrail and a totally unexpected thing to walk out of a bedroom and take 2 steps down. Also those 2 bedrooms have windows 14” or so off the floor, unsafe for children of these are open. All in all there are lots of stairways, crawling babies would need at least 4 baby gates for safety. For the price, you’ll find much better properties. Also, no DVD players, so family dvd memories weren’t shared as expected.

Annual ladies weekend
This is a wonderful property. This is the second time our group of ladies has stayed here. It is very clean and well stocked. We did have the first 2 days with strong winds and rain and were unable to sit and enjoy the patio or by a warm fire. With the inside of the house being so nice we didn't mind staying in and enjoying our time together. I highly recommend a stay at this Magnificent Beach House on sand point near Caseville

Our stay at a beautiful home on Sande Point
The family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. Because our family consisted of 12 people, we had to go and buy additional hand soap, kleenex, toilet paper, and paper towel. It would have been handy to have extra supply.

We had a great time at this house. Kayaker's delight right on the lake. Visited Turnip Rock in Port Austin as well. Owner was very helpful with any questions during our visit. Had colorful light shows and shooting stars off back deck, multiple nights during our visit. Great place for an active vacation or a relaxing vacation (or some of both).

Family Vacation July 2024
This property was beyond wonderful!! We have rented other places in the area and none of them even compare to how beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed this house was. I could list all that this home offers, but it would be a novel! Our family had such a great time and plan to return in the future! Thanks Fred for providing such a wonderful place for our family to enjoy the week together!!
