I want to start out saying that I am not a priss. I don't stay in super expensive hotels or expect more amenities that I'm paying for. That being said, staying at the Days Inn Pigeon Forge South in Tennessee, was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.
There are signs everywhere saying this is a Wyndham hotel, and it is even on a little tag on the shower curtains. You'd think the company would care about this establishment running the company name into the ground.
As mentioned by many others on countless review pages, there was no continental breakfast (which was advertised as a perk of the hotel). My husband and I chose the hotel because it was cheap, figuring that even the most sparse of breakfasts could help us save some cash to spend on activities around town. It's pretty hard to screw up a continental breakfast. Oh, but they did. There were some frozen waffles and loaf bread, cereal and coffee. There was a juice machine, but it only dispensed water. If you were looking for anything that could keep you going for a reasonable amount of time, you weren't going to find it here. Luckily there is a Waffle House down the street.
Another advertised perk was free wi-fi. The wi-fi worked the first day we were there and the last day...but not in between. In a place like this, you'll use a lot of data looking up show schedules, booking reservations, buying tickets and mapping locations. But if you don't have a data limit, this doesn't really apply to you. Let's move on
