We walked and rented scooters. Room had everything you need. Clean and spacious rooms and a great view. Bed was comfy and staff was extremely friendly and helpful."

Also got caught up on my laundry here for NZ$8 total. Laundry room (the one on 3rd floor) was very clean. Another set of machines on first floor, I understand."

"It is our first night at New Zealand after arriving Christchurch. Friendly and professional staff at reception, checkin was smooth. Room was comfortable, shower was adequate. Breakfast was very nice with much of English breakfast and other selections in the buffet. Definitely enjoyed our stay. "
