Beautiful Black Hills Log Home with Loft and 360' Views!!

Enjoy your visit to the Black Hills while staying in this beautiful 2500 square foot log home w/loft on 12 acres.
This log home has 2 beautifully rustic bedrooms (1-queen & 1-queen) and 2 full bathrooms (1-large tub & 1 double-shower). Enjoy the views from the very spacious loft which includes couch, chairs and 2 additional twin beds. The lower basement has pull out couch (queen) & triple bunks for kids along with ping-pong table and dartboard. Kitchen is completely furnished with all your cooking needs. The living room offers leather couches to cozy up with the real wood burning fireplace. Dining room includes table with 4 chairs along with additional seating at the peninsula.
Enjoy the morning sunrise along with 360 degree views from the wrap around deck. Deck furnishings include table with 2 chairs on north side, pub table with 2 chairs and patio table with 4 chairs on west side. Have your cameras ready as the mule deer visit the property regularly! Use the propane firepit on the west side of the deck to enjoy the wonderful evenings. (Sorry-no outdoor wood fires allowed.)
Home includes washer, dryer, forced air furnace and central air-conditioning.

Some of the activities inside the home include:
Loft bookshelves with games, puzzles, movies.
Loft 55" t/v with Roku stick, WiFi, and Wii games.
Lower level full size ping-pong table and dart board.

Great Cabin and Location
We had a great time staying at the log home. Everything we needed was furnished, clean and worked great. We really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, awesome views and wild life. It was a bonus that we could take our dog Lou for walks down the road leading in. We will definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful home with an awesome and scenic location! Secluded enough, but close enough to town.
The property is the perfect location to get to all the different attractions that the Black Hills have. We were within minutes of all of our daily destinations. It was so nice to have our day of adventure and then come home to such a beautiful and comfortable place. We look forward to booking this again!

Cute Little Cabin!
Our stay at the cabin was great. It was a little scary when we arrived the first night because we didn’t get there until it was pitch dark and we couldn’t see anything. However, when we woke up the next morning, the view from upstairs out of the front windows was gorgeous! I wish the cabin is a bit closer to the city but it all worked out. You can’t really get to anywhere without a car anyways. The cabin is centrally located so you can get to Mt. Rushmore and Badland pretty easy.

One word.. Amazing!
Really a Fantastic location and Beautiful property, close to all the areas attractions, state parks, and trails. and everything else western south Dakota has to offer. Very peaceful setting, you feel like you have the hills to yourself. We loved it and are definitely going back next year! The house is very clean! and the views from the loft are breathtaking!

Cabin in the hills
This place has a wonderful “cabin in the Black Hills” feel. Very quiet and relaxing. With only one shower it was a challenge for everyone to get a shower on the day of our family wedding but we worked it out. Also a challenge to hand wash all the dishes our family used. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay and we all wished we could have had more time to hang out there

Beautiful Cabin
We loved staying at this beautiful cabin. It was in a great location out in the country. Most of the places we went to see were less than an hour away. Rushmore, 1880 Train, Bear Country USA, Crazy Horse to name a few. While staying at the cabin, the wildlife we saw, was deer, turkeys, and bunnies. Before our stay, when I had a question for the owners, they would always get back with me within a day. Thanks Crystal and Ryan!

Beautify cabin, close to the sites
Cabin was as described. We had 6 adults and a dog stay and there was plenty of room. Kitchen had all we needed to make some meals. Views were beautiful! We loved the board games and played some each night. Had a small issue when we checked in. The hosts were great to work with, responded quickly and were able to remedy the issue. Cabin is within an hours drive of many tourist sites and easy drives around the area. Highly recommended!!!

This cabin is amazing
We stayed at this beautiful cabin for Sturgis bikeweek. This is like finding a hidden gem. The property is beautiful the pictures don't do it justice. There were all kinds of wildlife living around the cabin. The elk would be grazing on the hillside in the mornings. This place is off the beaten path but still so close to everything. I highly recommend staying here any chance you get. The property owners did an amazing job with everything as well. We couldn't of been happier!

Beautiful home in a great rural setting.
Rabbits, wild turkeys, and deer abound as you sit and gaze out the wall of windows. This is a beautifully built and finished log home. It presents just as the pictures show. It's three levels give three distinct feels. Bathrooms are on the middle and lower floors. If you are a bath person you'll love the big soaking tub next to the master bedroom. But if you like to shower you have to go down to the lower level. Big double shower, but not really convenient. Also, and I hope Ryan/Crystal read this, the shower floor needs something done to provide better footing. It gets VERY slippery as you rinse soap off. Wood is supplied for the stove. The appliances are modern and in good working order. But you'll have to hand wash dirty dishes. The location is rural and private yet easy to find, and on good roads. There is a pretty good little grocery store just a few miles away. Sturgis to the north, or Rapid to the south are 20-30 minutes away if you need more that the essentials. Airport is an easy 40mins. We stayed 5 nights and the home became more comfortable each night. Beds are comfortable, home is warm and inviting. Will definitely stay with Ryan and Crystal the next time we are in South Dakota to visit family.

Fantastic Cabin
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful. Our son and his wife loved and slept in the loft. The view, outdoor property, and wildlife were added bonuses. And we had so much fun playing ping-pong in the evenings. The shower with the ceiling heater outside for warming up while toweling-off was delightful. Wonderful!
