"Very well provisioned, great place to stay, wonderful yard with nice sitting areas and lawn - our two miniature schnauzers loved it. The cottage was clean comfortable and had lovely sitting areas. The place was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We had a storm and the hosts checked in on us which was very appreciated. You couldn’t ask for more at this stay."

"The property is an 1870's two-bedroom house centrally located in Mittagong. It has been beautifully restored such that it has retained it's original character, but been enhanced by the inclusion of modern appliances, etc. It is very cosy, clean and relaxing. Rod was particularly helpful."

"We had 9 staying at Lavender Cottage and the bedding and beds were wonderful. The layout of the cottage was good, with dining room and lounge large enough for all, with comfortable seating etc. Surrounding was beautiful, and felt very countryside while still only 10-15 mins out of Mittagong. Great 4pm leaving on Sundays. On the downside, property needs considerable maintenance on appliances, heating etc, and outdoor cleaning on BBQ and furniture.
