"The place was dirty. Marks from spills on the wall, dust on counter tops in bedrooms, cobwebs in corners etc etc. the bath towels were lovely but very disappointed with the standard of cleaning. We have taken photos and think it reasonable to ask for a refund of the cleaning fee as it clearly needed doing before our arrival. Will await your response. Thanks"

"Owl’s Rest is in a very peaceful spot wished we could have stayed longer. Our hosts Jill and Peter were delightful and very welcoming. The only drawback was we didn’t realise quite how far it was from Picton."

"fabulous host, lots of communication. The B&b is as described, very compact with a lovely patio with hammock, chairs table and loveseat. Inside host has supplied everything we could imagine. Huge bathroom with great water pressure , well equipped kitchen. Couch , tv …. Bedroom is upstairs and very compact, we loved it.. stairs are quite steep for anyone with mobility issues may be a challenge Area was super quiet at night. We visited many wineries just 10-15 min tops by car. Downtown...

The apartment is beautifully designed/decorated - simple, country aesthetic with style, and has everything you could want. The surrounding grounds are gorgeous. Not far to Blenheim for event there. Anna and Matt were very welcoming and friendly. Lulu and Goose were an added bonus. We will very likely return."

Stay here, you’ll love it, perfect place for a couple. Yes, it’s not in the main town of Picton, but it is a quick and easy drive to get there. "
