"Goyo is a fabulous host and the house is absolutely beautiful. It is really well equipped and feels like a home instead of a holiday rental. The terrace is fabulous and the BBQ and it’s so quiet and peaceful. The surrounding area is stunning too. Shopping can be done in Cervera or Guardo. The former smaller and prettier. Could not recommend this place any higher/ 10/10!"

"Pros: We stayed in the villa in September 2024. Miguel and his mother were there to greet us. Miguel was beyond helpful with perfect English (putting my terrible Spanish to shame!). "Perfect getaway from all things hectic. Simple, but beautiful, rural retreat, made a great base for exploring the foothills of Picos de Europa and further into the national park, but also close enough to enjoy the coast too. Very attentive host who made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. Excellent 5G reception across much of the area meant we only had to be as cut off from the rest of the world as we wanted to be."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à La Pesa. La maison est confortable et très agréable avec une belle terrasse qui donne sur les montagnes et le trampoline pour les enfants. De nombreuses activités sont accessibles aux alentours (randonnées, belles plages, canoë etc). Nous avons tout particulièrement apprécié la ceuil de Pepe qui nous a offert les fruits et avocats de son jardin. L'endroit est idéal pour se reposer et se ressourcer en famille."

"Andoni is a brilliant host - communicating mainly by WhatsApp and replying very quickly to all queries. Great place for exploring the Picos and North coast beaches. The surrounding area is very picturesque and quiet. Arriondas is close by for shopping and Canis de Onga is a lovely town with lots to do and swimming in the river to cool off!"

There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."
