Our stay at this hotel was saved only by the location and breakfast. The location is excellently placed right behind the train station in the central Cannes. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast buffet was small but had varied choice (mostly continental with a small amount of hot food).
However, we only found out the spa is closed indefinitely when at the hotel, and also found out that despite nil warning on their website the pool was also closed.
This should not be advertised as a spa hotel and the pool seasonal availability dates should be clearly advertised.
We did receive small amount for compensation for these disappointments but would only recommend this hotel if you are not planning on staying in the hotel much.

The loveliest front desk lady was so thorough explaining everything about the hotel and the area. The hotel itself is a private villa with spacious, clean and stylish rooms and excellent amenities. Very safe, quiet and if you are lucky, you can get one of the 2 parking spaces just outside of the hotel. Within walkable distance to the center, which is a huge plus.

I could not find fault in the property. It is centrally located and customer service was excellent and this will set them apart from the rest. The moment we checked-in we were taken care of right away by Liliana even if we arrived early for our check-in. We stayed for seven nights.
Allan at the reception (night shift) was the best - he made us feel like we are friends and every time we walk back in the hotel, he would ask how we were, what do we need and always calls us "TEAM BALTAZAR". We were touched when he mentioned that he cannot see us during our last few days as he will be off. We were a bit sad as we were looking forward to our short chit chats with him.
If we go back to NICE - we will definitely stay here again. Location is perfect, the amenities were very good and staff were the best.

"Warm welcome for non Italian speaking Australian guests. Brilliant views from our room. Much better than the photos. Room very clean and everything in good condition. Nice linen and towels. Very nice €20 three course set dinner menu. Would happily return and recommend to friends."
