"We had a lovely 5 day stay at Carmelina with our 2.5yo. The staff were all absolutely lovely, and our room was very comfortable. There were many considerate factors for families, such as rounded bed edges. There was a lot of consideration put into the resort design, from the many lovely fish ponds, gorgeous greenery to the many different cute figurines of different animals. We really liked some of the self-sustaining features of Carmelina, such as their home grown fruits (all delicious). Some of the pools and equipment showed wear and tear, and ideally would be updated soon. We did not venture out from the resort, and the town center was a bit over 1km away, which was too much for our toddler to handle. "

"We came as a group of 5 people to this beautiful 4 bedroom villa and all of us fell in love with the place. I am personally a detailed oriented person and I love both interior and exterior of the villa. The whole outside walls of the villa is kept so clean as if it’s newly built with earth tone paints. I was looking for possible water marks or stains from rain water or dusts but I would say none. The villa had beautiful landscapes with well kept plants and flowers. The villa has tranquility river view at the back with water fountains from the river. It has an overall flowing view which is so relaxing. The pool is salt water pool without any chlorine nor the smell of any chemicals. Interiorly, it’s a flowy open floor plan with open view from living room, kitchen, and dining room, looking out to the pool and river view. Fully equipped kitchen for party of 10 who want to stay, cook, and enjoy quality time with family. Each bedroom has its own unique bathroom and downstairs had 1/2 bathroom for guest. The interior decorations are neat, simple, everything is in place, yet elegant and eco friendly with light earth tone color which make us feel comfortable as home sweet home. The whole house was very clean from floors to ceiling to glass doors. The villa is just a walking distance to the beach and close to the reception building which has lush gardens, a restaurant, and a gym upstairs. Best to come with a car, which we did, so you can be on your own time to move about. "

"This is a lovely tropical beach resort. We stayed in a 2 bedroom pool villa for 3 nights. While the weather didn't cooperate, we still had a great time. We were greeted by a lovely bowl of fresh fruit and complementary wine. They also provided a complementary photo shoot for my partner and I which is a lovely memento of our time there. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We didn't use the main pools but they looked clean and up to date. I had several spa treatments that were all very good, however, they didn't communicate very well with me about the services being provided and in one case they moved me into a room for my facial where another person was already getting a massage. Apparently, treatments are not all entirely private. I didn't mind but some people might. The hair wash treatment was by far my favorite. my hair felt amazing for a week afterwards. We ordered room service a few times, and it was all very good and delivered in a timely manner. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, snacks and drinks at the beach bar, and we ate dinner at the restaurant on our last night. We enjoyed the food and all of the staff was accommodating and friendly. There is construction going on next door to this property had we been situated on that side of the resort, it would have been an issue. It appears a very large resort is going up next to this property which may impact the seclusion we enjoyed. We picked this property for a bit of isolation and it did deliver. "
