Custom backyard with screened-in Arizona room, putting green, pool (heating optional), hot tub, firepit, pergola & hammock. Spacious Master-suite with bathtub, dual rain walk-in shower, and electric fireplace. Outfitted with R/O drinking water system, barn door window shades throughout!

The space
The Arcadia retreat has been thoughtfully designed for those who truly appreciate the outdoor Arizona lifestyle. Inside you'll find a primary suite with luxurious primary bathroom king bed, high-end in-room fireplace and TV, 2 bedrooms with high end queen beds and 1 bedroom with two single beds (Note that this bedroom must be traversed in order to access the primary bedroom). For additional sleeping capacity there is also a queen sized pull-out sofa in the living room.

The backyard is packed with comfy spaces to relax and enjoy the weather:

Recreation softball stay
Place was clean and well maintained the guys really enjoyed the hot tub, the pool and all outdoor amenities . We didn’t spend much time on the property except sleep and showers but we enjoyed the time we spent there.

Perfect getaway
Our family of 5 enjoyed the property immensely. The location was great as it is near the airport and other great restaurants. The neighborhood is up and coming so don't get too worried when you drive up to it. We took Waymo everywhere and loved it.

Close to everything we were looking for!
The outdoor space was the best! We planned our time around when we could most enjoy the backyard. Pretty close drive to Old Town Scottsdale and Papago Park. Food wise, we enjoyed BoSa doughnuts, Diego Pops, Barrio Queen, and Grimaldi's (coal brick oven pizza).

Great location to get to all the places we needed. Quite, quite, quite!! Had all the necessities we needed and then some. The spa was great and the pool was cold even in 100+ degree temps. When we contacted hosts with simple questions, answers were received within minutes.

Great location and outdoor living space
The home was very clean. The pool and outdoor area was refreshing in the late evening and early morning. We were there during a heat wave and the two air conditioning units kept the home cool. Just a heads up, there is a second thermostat in the master bedroom, be sure to get it turned to proper temp when you arrive. The host was very accommodating and was quick to respond with any questions. We had a great time and the location was PERFECT for our stay.

You won’t want to leave the yard
This property was photo accurate and the updates in the bathrooms and design touches were really well done and they spent their money on the right touches IMO. The house had a bit of an odd layout (there was a room adjacent the master suite with two twin beds sharing a common wall and there were two sliding glass doors next to one another in two separate rooms) but the beds were comfortable, the A/C was consistent and plenty cool (very important during a summer in AZ) and the window coverings were effective for blocking light in the mornings. Besides, the layout is irrelevant when you don’t ever want to leave the outdoor entertaining space. The pool was perfect, the pergola with swings and hammocks was dreamy and in the winter I am sure the fire pit outside is a wonderful treat as well as the hot tub. Only (minor) complaint was the kitchen accoutrements were a bit underwhelming for anyone who loves to cook as much as I do. The necessary items were there but could use a bit of updating/upgrading for a home that’s sleeps this many people with such a great area outside to enjoy as a family or a group. The area is nice. It just is in the midst of some updating/gentrification. Lots of homes in the neighborhood being updated/upgraded. It’s nicely located though and will probably end up a VERY nice neighborhood as these properties are revamped, but there was a lot of construction crew “busyness” during the day that had extra on street parking of contractors etc.

Great home, great stay
Kelly & Matthew were great hosts. They were quick to respond and happy to accommodate some requests we had. The house is perfect for families, or a group. The beds were comfy, the location was convenient and everything was as described. The yard is an oasis, it couldn’t be more perfect. We spent all our time in the comfy seating areas, in the hot tub and the pool. You can’t go wrong here.

The house was just perfect for our family trip. The layout was great, every inch of the backyard was amazing and the location itself was on point! The neighborhood was nice and quiet but still close to everything you needed from activities to restaurants. Communication and information from the host was so helpful. We stayed at this home with friends and family and it was a great stay. Nicely updated. The outdoor pool and hot tub were fantastic. We did pay to turn the heater on the pool and it was perfect. Communication with the owners was great, they were very responsive whenever we had any questions. The location is very close to many stores, restaurants, hiking, parks, old town Scottsdale. The only negatives I can think of were that there were dead plants outside, and it took a bit to figure out the hot tub, but once that was working, it was perfect. Again, any questions or issues the homeowners were amazing to work with. I would highly recommend this home.

Great Home in a Prime Location
Overall this was a fantastic property. Beautiful pool and backyard, plus a large putting green to keep you entertained for hours. Plenty of space inside in the common areas to cook meals and hang out with friends. Location wise, this was just about perfect as well. Conveniently about 10 mins from the airport and maybe an 8 minute drive to downtown Scottsdale. We'll definitely be back for Spring Training next year

We enjoyed our stay at the retreat. We spent most afternoons at the pool and in the outdoor spaces, which worked very well for both adults and kids. The house was comfortable and clean. Our host was very reponsive on the few occasions we needed to contact him.

Clean house, great yard!
We stayed a few nights at the home in November with our adult “kids.” The yard was perfect!! Loved the picnic area, fire pit, grill, swings, and golf putting green. Paid to have the pool heated so we could swim in the evenings. The temps were too chilly for the girls, but the boys still swam. Also the hot tub did not heat up to our standard of “hot” (stayed around 92, where we prefer 100) and the host said he would look into it. We all still used the hot tub since the jets in the hot tub were very powerful! and relaxing. Overall, we would recommend this home.
