Nice stay with room for improvement
We stayed here as a family of 6 for 11 nights over Spring Break for my son’s baseball tour. The location was close to Legacy Sports Complex and Red Mountain Baseball Complex so it was great for us.
The place seems like a newer listing so the bedding was all clean and the couch was very comfortable. The appliances were all new and worked well.
We did have an issue with the main bathroom door in that it wouldn’t shut (like the wood has expanded). We notified them the day we arrived and sent a video. No one came to fix it. I had seen this issue in a previous review and emailed them prior to arriving and they assured it was taken care of but it hadn’t been.
For a longer stay, we cooked most of our meals. The kitchen was moderately equipped. No ice cube trays, wine glasses, corkscrew or big salad bowl. We did suggest these items and one day a bag of ice was delivered but we were told nothing else. Don’t really care for having a drink or cocktail in a coffee mug or plastic kids cup.
The pool is beautiful and set nicely to see the sunset however our kids didn’t use the pool because it was so cold. I had asked about paying to heat it but it wasn’t an option. Too cold for anyone to go in. The backyard has so much potential but the current ground is uneven and unusable for being on (ruts, muddy during rain, weird animal pen in the yard etc).
Overall, we liked the cleanliness, appliances, location but definitely could use some small improvements to make it a 5/5.
