Great break away from everything
This was a really great stay in a unique property. It is out by itself down a dirt road with NO traffic and very peaceful, but has everything you need very close. The house has everything and is very comfortable. Perfect get away for some rest and good desert views.

We enjoyed our Farmhouse stay for a month. Loved the birds and views from outside. The house was well equipped and the beds comfortable. Darcy and Feather were good hosts.

Peace and quiet in the desert
A lovely experience in the midst of the desert, yet easily accessible to Scottsdale and Cave Creek. Our family enjoyed the quiet and the experience of watching the wildlife from the deck.

Best VRBO we have had
Plenty of room in and out. Love the porch and watching the critters. Remote but close to do much. Plan to stay there next year for our annual trip to the area.

We loved staying at this home. It was very clean and so comfortable - we felt right at home. We had 2 coyotes walk right by the porch and a javelina also came into the yard. It was very private yet so close to everything. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I have stayed here twice and loved it. The desert around is so peaceful and beautiful. The house is very comfortable and easy to stay in and it's close to all kinds of shopping and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the saguaro cactus that were in full bloom. Darcy is a wonderful host and we would definitely stay again!

Four adults (myself, spouse and husband's brother and his wife) enjoyed three nights. It was wonderfully comfortable and quiet. Very cozy. We'd stay again if we're in the area. Both Darcy and Melinda (local property manager) were very responsive and helpful with a couple of questions we had (very minor items).

Beautiful well- kept home with all appointments needed for a wonderful stay - close to golf and food
Wonderful stay at great home - perfect for 2 couples - quiet surroundings nice sunsets and some cool wildlife ( we saw rare Mexican grey wolf one morning!) We’ll definitely stay again when we return for more golf at Troon! Very close to Four Seasons where wives enjoyed spa all week! Thank you again to our gracious host! She was available whenever needed and is super pleasant!

Loved it!
We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse! Everything was clean and neat, the couches and beds were comfortable. We had little ones with us and they loved having a little space outside to run around. It was so quiet by the house but so close to everything. We saw lots of rabbits, roadrunners, quail, and a coyote! We look forward to staying here again.

Listing was as described along with photos. When you walk in you feel at home. Well stocked kitchen. My favorite was sitting on porch and listening to the birds and admiring the cactus. Bed comfortable. Recommend this home 100%

It is hard to believe you are in the middle of N. Scottsdale. The house sits in three acres of Sonoran desert. We have been visited by coyotes, javelina, bobcat an owl and other raptors. Very private but in the center of everything.

All around OUTSTANDING!
This has to be the most peaceful place in Scottsdale. House was perfect for us. Kitchen was well stocked; couches and chairs in the living room were incredibly comfy. I had coffee on the back deck every morning with birds, bunnies and abundant quail. Darcy is an excellent host who responded to any questions I had within minutes. One of the best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had. Looking forward to returning to this wonderful home in the future.

Beautiful location
Easy communication and check-in process, the location was wonderful and quiet. Our family loved seeing the wildlife native to AZ while still being a quick drive to the bustle of Scottsdale and Phoenix city life. Beds were comfy in all three bedrooms too, which was a definite perk! Often we notice just the Master suite has a good mattress and the other beds are eh at best, but we were pleasantly surprised here! We would recommend Darcy’s VRBO to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay in Scottsdale.

Cozy Farmhouse in the desert
This cozy farmhouse was very clean with comfortable beds, plenty of towels and easy dish service on the tv. The only thing that was needed was the mirror in the master bedroom was broken and has not been repaired in the three years since we had been there before. Also the windows and blinds need to be washed and replaced. Also the property needs to be cleaned up.

More than we expected!!!
Exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The location was its own oasis. The little farm house is decorated perfectly. And EVERYTHING you need is provided. The communication with the property manager was the best I have experienced at any rental. Darcy provided a perfect location for our family getaway. And all of the animals in the yard wer pleasant surprises…. Hawks, bunnies, hummingbirds, roosters, javalenas…. It was so fun to explore!!!

Quiet and cozy
The property was perfect for our needs. It was quiet, cozy comfy and clean. We had our 2 little pooches with us so we had to be diligent when taking them outside as the property is not fenced in and coyotes are active and plentiful but that’s normal. The heater didn’t work at first but Darcy and Feather got it repaired immediately and we had no other problems. House was equipped with everything we could’ve needed. Stores and restaurants and gas and every other convenience was located within minutes of the house. will definitely stay again. Definite thumbs up.

Cute Farm House
Perfect location for enjoying the desert. We don’t like being in neighborhoods, condos, resorts, etc. For us, it’s all about outside enjoyment. And the back deck allows for desert and wildlife viewing without the traffic and noise. It’s a nice farmhouse feel inside with comfortable leather furniture and beds/bedding. Communication with Darcy was easy and fast and she was very responsive to a couple of our needs. We would certainly rent here again. Also, it’s very important to keep shoes on when outside. We had a couple cactus mishaps with the grands! Don’t let them play with the sand in the wash as it’s full of cactus burrs!

Lovely magical home
Darcy was great from before I reserved her place all the way to the end. Very helpful, always available, the home is really comfortable in a great neighborhood where you feel like it is must you. The property is beautiful. Home is comfortable and having darkness was such a treat. Easy to sleep without lights outside. I hung out with bunnies, quail families with many babies, and a coyote. There was a dove mom and dad sitting on eggs waiting to be hatched. The back of the home has 2 comfortable recliners where I spent my mornings and evenings. The bed was comfortable and the home is very close to many restaurants, grocery stores and easy to get around from Darcy’s home i highly recommend staying here. I actually had appointments in Tempe, flew into Phoenix and chose to stay in North Scottsdale for the nature, beauty of the rocks, dark at night and the wildlife.
