The perfect couples getaway!
The property and location are stunning! The hosts are very friendly and make you feel right at home. We loved watching the wildlife right in our backyard and enjoying the beautiful pool. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet private place with amazing scenery!

Quiet and relaxing
Great place to escape the noise of day to day life. Hosts are very welcoming and friendly including their dog Frankie. Easy access for a good hike in the morning and cool off in the pool afterwards. Nice little getaway.

A magical place!
Enjoyed each morning with coffee on the patio looking at the beautiful desert view. After a day of golf or hiking, We loved coming back to the same patio to play cards and watch the sunset. Yvonne and Billie were great hosts.

The place is lovely. The infinity pool overlooking the open desert is incredible! We enjoyed watching the tortoises eat their breakfast. Really a wonderful desert getaway, away from the crowds.

A Pinnacle Peak escape
A perfect hideaway for the solo traveller. Spotlessly clean, super-comfortable casita with access to a fantastic pool. Glorious views of Pinnacle Peak sunsets. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful and I’ve already booked a return stay.

Amazing views
We booked this place on a whim one night and I can’t tell you how many times I was thankful for that choice during our stay. It was absolutely perfect in location, and the scenery was breathtaking. Everything was incredibly clean and so much thought went into the details to bring the comforts of home to your stay. Check in and out was easy and both Yvonne and Billy were gracious hosts who gave great tips on places to hike and restaurants to visit. This was the perfect little romantic getaway, we cannot wait to visit again.

A must stay place in Arizona!
Great place and hosts are VERY nice. Hanging out on the huge patio with a great relaxing view was a highlight. It was like our very own resort. Too cold to use pool - but hot tube was great. Close to hike paths and exploring in Scottsdale. Planning to come back as soon as we can make the time!

Welcoming Desert Getaway
This desert location was perfect for our Scottsdale getaway! It was close to everything we wanted to explore but remote enough to feel the peace and quiet and enjoy the beautiful stars in the sky at night. The casita is spacious and well equipped and has tons of character. Yvonne and billy are very welcoming and available when you need them. We would definitely return to this great spot in North Scottsdale!

Pool House in North Scottsdale
This was a unique and wonderful property, with very welcoming and friendly hosts! There was tons of space around the property to use, including some unique pets that we enjoyed seeing. The pool house was very well stocked with everything guests might need. Our only cautions for future guests are that the pool water was unexpectedly quite cold, although very refreshing (and a beautiful pool), and the pool house itself could be a bit musty when the A/C wasn't running. But overall, a very enjoyable stay in a great location!

Shower water pressure very average and it took 5 minutes to get warm water not hot water. However, the property sat on 5 acres, setting gorgeous, beautiful views, huge 2 tiered patio and was very comfortable

Loved our stay here!
This location was a perfect fit for our holiday. There were lots of hiking trails around us, and we hiked every day. Plus, it’s easy to get to shopping and restaurants in the area. The pool house was very comfortable and spacious and we quickly felt right at home. Kitchen had all the equipment you might need for making meals. And having a washer and dryer was very convenient for us, so we were able to pack light. Yvonne and Billy were quick to address all our needs and questions and we appreciated their gracious hospitality during our 2 week stay. We would love to come back next year but they’re already booked in the timeframe we needed!

Three weeks in North Scottsdale
A beautiful property. Our dog loved it. Great, spread-out neighborhood, mountains and desert. An unexpected treat: there's a wonderful dog park a half mile away--huge, with friendly dogs, friendly people. The one negative: it wasn't all that warm in North Scottsdale, about 7-8 degrees cooler than Old Town. Maybe twice in three weeks, it reached 70 degrees. A cold winter, everybody says. Otherwise, a perfect stay, good people.

Repeat Performance by the Kilpatrick's!
We stayed in this 1-bedroom casita in 2019 for approximately the time period (February March). Once again, everything was perfect from day one until we left for Sedona. This one bedroom one bathroom apartment is just the right size for our 2 1/2 week stay. Great accomodations as far as comfortable furniture, plenty of kitchen items for daily cooking, access to grill, use of washer and dryer, and outdoor living. We hike on our trips; so access to Pinnacle Peak and trailheads off Dynamite Road are a big plus. Horseback riding is very close to the casita, as well. Local area offers a good selection of restaurants, shopping and services (local Farmers Market on Saturday's is great). Inside the casita complex, access to a local trail and sitting shelter plus walking around the neighborhood is great. The Kilpatrick's give you complete privacy during your stay. If you need help or direction with anything, the owners are there to help you. The area is absolutely beautiful as well at night - lots of star gazing! A great place to stay and enjoy while in North Scottsdale!

Not what I expected
VRBO says that all security cameras cannot be allowed on the property. There were three hard wired security devices in the home. The Security device was ADEMCO N8743-3. One device was located in the living room One located in the kitchen area pointed towards the bathroom area and shower area. The other was located behind the door in the bedroom that could not be shut due to the bed being to large for the room. The cushions were torn on the patio , pool was dirty, landscaping not kept up and the furniture in the house had dog hair / scratches on it. Just not what the pictures looked like. Nice people
