Home away from home!
Lovely property, everything met our expectations and much more. Clean, comfortable and the owners are so helpful, warm and welcoming, always there to answer questions with anything we needed. The views are spectacular and it’s so peaceful and inviting, can’t wait to go back!

Great stay
The owners, Leigh & Frank, are the nicest people. They were helpful and welcoming! The views are beautiful and there are so many hiking experiences nearby. We went to Granite Mountain, McDowell Regional Park, McDowell Preserve and right outside the door to Tonto National Forest. I highly recommend staying here & will be back!

Our hosts, Leigh and Franck were amazing. Very generous, helpful and so kind. Everything in their rental was top notch, we had everything we needed to enjoy a week's stay. Views are great, both morning and evening.

Perfect Southwest Vacation Spot
Beautiful location practically in the Tonto National Forest (seguaro desert). Comfortable, well appointed, clean suite with great king bed, spacious bathroom and sitting room. All the kitchen supplies needed for meals and a lovely patio to dine, drink, sun and watch stunning sunrises and sunsets. The incredible hosts are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. A+ in every category.

We arrived to a wonderful, out of the way attached apartment with one of the most beautiful views we have seen. We were greeted kindly by the owners. They went well out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Great place, great host. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

I had a fabulous stay at this property. Leah and Franck were wonderful hosts. I arrived late and Leah met me on the road to show me the way to her lovely home. Everything was as described and I felt totally at home. The home was well stocked and very clean. Plush towels and the bed was super comfy. If I had forgotten anything I would have found it stocked here. I loved all the maps and information they provided for hiking and about the local area. I hope to return for a longer visit.

Best VRBO Experience Ever!
The accommodations and our interactions with the hosts were everything we could have asked for in a VRBO experience and then some! So many of the little extras and we felt like we'd known Leigh and Franck for years even though we had just met them. All of the glowing remarks you are reading in these reviews are spot on. Book it! You won't regret it!

A Hidden Gem!!
This rental is a hidden Gem!! The hosts were amazing. Very accommodating and supplied us with everything we could have possibly needed had we forgotten anything back home. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, which is kind of a big deal for me. They checked in to see if we needed anything else but was never a bother, the weather was cold so they even checked to see that the temp in our place was to our liking. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous! Most amazing sunrises and sunsets. We live in the city so this was a perfect change of scenery for us. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was perfect for us 3. Could accommodate 4 comfortably. We will def be back next year! Thanks Leigh and Franck for an incredible vacation!

Bliss
Wow! We have stayed at many places in beautiful locations around the world, but this one is a favorite. Leigh and Franck are wonderful hosts. I wish we had more time to spend with them. The home is beautiful, the accommodations are wonderful and in one of the most breathtakingly gorgeous places we’ve been. We enjoyed many hikes among the saguaros in the Tonto National Forest…just steps from the front door. Leigh directed us to a couple more really beautiful hikes and special places to eat. I was traveling for business (this is an easy drive to the north Scottsdale resorts/events centers), my husband enjoyed a week of vacation. I hope we can return soon.

Our second stay with Leigh and Franck. We could not be happier with the accommodations. Everything tidy and super clean. Coffee and dinner on the porch with a wonderful view. Minutes to McDowell Sonoran Preserve and McDowell Mountain Regional Park with endless miles of trails to hike or mountain bike. Thanks - we had a great time.

A perfect stay
We returned to this piece of heaven for the second time. Leigh and Franck are wonderful hosts. This is a perfect location for us on the edge of the Tonto National Forest. It was close to my conference in Scottsdale, and a perfect retreat to come back to after a long day. Beautiful hiking just footsteps away, and a wonderful private apartment on this beautiful property. But the best part for us is Leigh and Franck - absolutely wonderful people.

Home Away from Home
We had a wonderful stay in the Rio Verde foothills! The views of the mountains were stunning, and Leigh and Franck were so accommodating! We felt at home the moment we arrived and were warmly welcomed. When we entered the property, it was immediately evident that Leigh and Franck had taken great care to consider every detail to ensure that their guests have a wonderful stay. The guest house was clean, cozy, and well cared for. Items were labeled and easy to locate. We appreciated having all the amenities of a full kitchen in addition to the patio grill area. We enjoyed spending time on the patio listening to the birds and taking in the ever-changing splendor of the mountain views, sunrise, and sunset. The neighborhood was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The Tonto National Forest was a short walk from their house, and we loved exploring the trails. We look forward to future opportunities to stay with Leigh and Franck. Rio Verde Foothills - Miles of Trails.
We could not be more pleased with our accommodations with Leigh and Franck. There was a wonderful bedroom and bath. A breakfast nook, stocked with more conveniences than we have at home. There is an additional utility room in which you cook, with the washer, dryer and sink. It all worked well together. The Wi-Fi internet worked great and we were able to conduct business and remote meetings. The location is about 7 to 10 minutes down an unpaved road to the highway. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. Lots of little creatures while enjoying our morning coffee on the back porch. We chose this location because of its proximity to local mountain riding venues. We enjoyed Brown's Ranch and Pima Dynamite trailheads. Endless miles of rolling single track, with minimal climbing. We never got to McDowell Regional Park and the Pemberton Trail Loop.

Relaxing and Beautiful
We very much enjoyed our stay! I hiked in the mornings across the street on the hiking trail which was so nice to not have to drive somewhere. Leigh and Franck were very friendly and gave spot on tips for additional hiking, restaurants, and nearby attractions. The patio is beautiful - the patio itself and the scenery - so peaceful. The lodging had everything we needed - very well equipped and comfortable bed! Hope to get back sometime. Highly recommend for a relaxing escape!

Leigh and Franck were really fantastic hosts. it was a fantastic property but their hospitality really made it worth staying. My husband and I were house hunting in the Phoenix area and coming back to our VRBO after a long day was such a treat. We had long conversations with the hosts and deemed so much knowledge about the area from them. We would definitely stay here again but more importantly we have met some great friends.

Leigh and Franck are wonderful, conscientious hosts and did all they could to make my stay comfortable. The guest suite is nice and clean with a ginormous bed. The property is adjacent to the Tonto national forest and trails are accessible from the end of the driveway. Excellent experience overall and I'd happily stay there again!

Phenomenal time in a phenomenal space
It will be hard to summarize all that is good with this owner, this property, and this experience. Let me just say that it was perfect for my wife and me during our business/vacation in Scottsdale. The location of the property is well out of the way, which we wanted, about a 45 min welcome beautiful drive from our daily business appt. in Scottsdale. Located off a dirt road a stone's throw from Tanto State Park/Forest... gorgeous... quiet... beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Owners Leigh and Franck were as hospitable as they were respectful of our time and privacy. Lovely to deal with. The property and space itself was wonderful for us as a couple. Higher-end furnishings, comfortable bed, plenty of space. Overall a wonderful experience... we would easily consider visiting again!!! Thank you Legih and Franck!!!

Wonderful Casita.
We really enjoyed our stay at this casita. It was furnished well, superbly decorated, very clean and offered a quiet, beautiful desert setting. Many miles of hiking, horseback and OHV trails in the Tonto National Forest, right out the front door. The owners are very willing and friendly and aim to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. We will be coming back.
