the location is the largest plus. parking was easy, rooms were clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. the hotel is old and sprawling, but thats part of the charm. only drawback is that one of my rooms had the payment dropped from online... a little confusion when i gave a 2nd card for incidental coverage. i had to pay full price for the room while it was being fixed. havent received an email about a credit yet.

Lovely place in a great location. However upon checking into our room and getting our bags out of the car the room was covered in black pet hair. There was hair on all flat services, including in the sheets. There was also a musty smell in the room. I called the front desk and was easily moved to a room two doors down from the origonal room. The new room luckily was clean and did not have a smell. I am grateful for the fast response to change rooms, but was sadly thrown off because how dirty the first room was.

Lobby area was very nice, room was towards back and not as well kept up. Arrived at 5pm, it was getting dark and could barely find the room. Once lights came on, no lighting in the back area. The shower was clogged and our room was not serviced during stay. Could use updating to match lobby vibe.
