Pool/cleaner issues
It’s a long story that wouldn’t fit in this space but the long and short of it is the pool was not properly working. When we arrived we let the property people know and they were going to send pool guy next morning. Pool guy never came. We did swim in it cause they told us it was because of the storms and it was ok for swimming. That night my daughter who is in Optometry school had a bad reaction in both eyes burning she could barely open them. She believes it was from the pool. The next day we told the property people again. The water was very green and still. Definitely not working right. Anyways it never got fixed and when I asked for compensation because that’s why we rented the house they said the owners would make that decision. We left the next day after tidying up. We said should we take pics cause we’ve never done that anywhere else we’ve stayed but decided not to. So of course the next day I get a text saying that the cleaners had to stay two extra hours because the place was such a mess. It was all because they wanted to use that against us getting money back. Just not a cool way to operate. Funny thing is my in-laws live 5 miles from here and their pool was crystal clear so we spent most our time there and just slept at the house so how bad could it have been. We even emptied the trash from bathrooms and swept before we left. Anyways we all agreed we wouldn’t stay here again. There are way too many nice houses out there to put up with that crap.
