This home is located on a private cul-de-sac near horse properties and walking trails in a quiet Scottsdale neighborhood.

We call this home "The Family Room" because we believe that spending time together as a family is the most important ingredient for building a healthy family. We've personally found that some of the most fun and meaningful conversations we've had as a family happen while we're playing and crafting together.

While you're here, check out our game closet, use our bluetooth speaker for a family dance party, host an air hockey or ping pong tournament, go swimming, play tetherball, volleyball, or badminton, shoot some baskets, explore the walking trail off the cul-de-sac for a beautiful sunset experience, and keep an eye out for the wild horses!

This property was beautiful both inside and out. It had everything needed to be able to enjoy some special family time away. Some of our favorite things were the kitchen and coffee bar, sitting out on the patio watching the sunset, the ball pit and crafting room., Brian and Krista were amazing hosts and we look forward to our next stay!

Amazing property! Our family had the best time visiting Arizona and staying in this beautiful home. Tons of activities and the hot tub was definitely a favorite. Everything was organized and instructions were simple. A great place for families with kids of all ages.

Resort Style Home

Amazing

Wonderful family getaway
We spent a week getaway at The Family Room with our four kids, ages 15-7. We had a wonderful time exploring Arizona near and far with local hikes around Scottsdale and daily walks on the trail next to the house. We loved the games, piano, pool/hottub, and garage full of table games. We felt so welcome and well taken care of the whole week and had everything we needed. Thank you for an incredible Spring Break getaway - just what we needed to get away from the cool Indiana weather and reconnect as a family!

The family room
We went down from snowy BC to play golf for 7 days: six adults and all our gear. There was more than enough room. Stunning house. Great pool and hot tub. Owners are great and instantly respond to any concerns. I would not hesitate to go again.

Wonderful family time and respite
We enjoyed a week at The Family Home. The house is really amazing. Our family enjoyed the pool, darts, tetherball, board games, and badminton. The house is a great size and makes for a very comfortable stay. The house is in a scenic area . We enjoyed nearby hikes and watching the sunset on the swings in the back yard. It’s truly a special place.

A house for everyone
The home was great for 2 families. Everyone had something to do there; pool, volleyball, tetherball, hot tub and so much more! It was so close to everything and there is great hiking trails close by. The home was clean and welcoming! The owners and management team were great to work with too!

Perfect for Families
The home is incredible, well designed and well stocked with everything you can think of. Just bring a bathing suit and you’ll be set!! We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the game cabinet with probably 100 games- so fun to try new ones. He have four teens and a ten year old so there was volleyball and tether ball and beautiful sunrise and sunset hikes and lots of space to spread out. Such a great place to stay and the home just feels like it’s wrapping its arms around you.

SO great for our family!
Our visit to The Family Room was excellent. The house is SO well set up for a large family--pool, hot tub, an art room, large gathering spaces, outdoor activities, walking trails . . . I could go on and on. Our time was restful, comfortable, and fun. The home was clean and well-equipped with the things a family would need (and more) for a great visit. The host family is a gift & we are so grateful for this time away as a family. I would highly recommend.

Rest, Renewal, Respite
Our family had the most wonderful time. It was our first trip with our adopted son and it could not have been better for all of us. The Family Room gave us not just a "home base" to sleep while visiting AZ from FL but it was so conducive to shared time to make memories. The jacuzzi jet bath tub turned my teens back into splashing, bubble bath taking littles again. The pool was wonderful, grilling by it and making smores was a highlight. The house is so well stoked for everything that we spent one whole day just having a "house day" doing karaoke, playing games, swimming, reading and cooking together. We would love to come back!

Amazing for the whole family!
The house was amazing! We had 6 adults and 5 children and all fit perfectly comfortable in the house. The kids LOVED the spa in the perfect January Arizona weather! We were able to grill out, play board games, and enjoy outdoor sports all together. All kids had to take turns in the jacuzzi tub as well! When we weren’t in the house, we had the best experiences all over Arizona. We visited the Grand Canyon, went to Legoland and the aquarium, visited ghost towns, had dinner at Medieval Times, and went to the BEST arcade called Cyber Quest where the manager Nate made sure all of the kids left with a huge smile and prize! The whole town is beautiful and the allotment is in such a scenic part of Arizona. We loved everything about it!! We’re already talking about coming back! Thank you so much to Brian and his amazing team that made this possible for us

Beautiful home stay
Our foster/adoptive family of 6 celebrated 2 adoptions this year. We had originally said Disney was going to be our celebration trip but decided a 2 week long Arizona and cross country road trip would be better to adventure and spend time together after we found out about the family room via The Filled Conference this year. The first half of our trip was spent in your beautiful home swimming, playing tetherball, hide and seek, visiting with friends, playing in the fun play rooms and so much more. I got to touch a piano for the first time in over 10 years and sing a few worship songs with our kids, which was super special. Locally we loved visiting hole in the rock, medieval times, the Grand Canyon (the kids became junior rangers), cowboy u for a trail ride and kids ranch camp, pedicures and haircuts, Butters, lime & salt and so many other fun places to eat. This was a beautiful space to relax in before our long drive home to PA. Thank you for offering such a place of blessing for our family and others.

Beautiful house, wonderful amenities, amazing vacation!
Our family had an amazing stay at The Family Room. The house amenities provided so much fun and entertainment without having to go anywhere. Of course we did take in some of the sights of AZ while we were there but we sure loved coming back to the house each evening to cook, swim, and play. We hope to go back!

Amazing Vacation!
We had a blast here! We spent many hours in the pool and really enjoyed many of its features like the sun shelf, built in table that we could play waterproof cards at, and the umbrellas to create some shaded areas. We also liked the air hockey table! This was a wonderful place to vacation and it was so good to see our teenage foster son smile and laugh so much after a very tough year. We will likely be back in the future!
