Updated Mid-Century Modern home built in 1971 in a quiet culdesac, Non-HOA neighborhood, is centrally located in North Phoenix, 15 minutes from airport, 5 minutes from shopping, golfing, cycling, hiking, kayaking on Lake Pleasant!

LOCATION

North Mountain area of North Phoenix-The home is located next to Cave Creek Park & attached Cave Creek golf course. Shaw Butte & North Mountains are 5 minutes away offering great hiking with beautiful views of the valley. Near GCU.

THE HOME

This rental is a separate & private suite within the house with a separate entry. There is another separate guest suite next door. There may be another guest or the host staying in the separate suite next door; Feel free to inquire as to whether anyone is staying in the rental suite next door at the time of booking.

THE RENTAL

This comfortable rental suite has a private entrance into the full kitchen, at the LEFT SIDE OF THE HOME, consisting of a large updated kitchen with new appliances, dining area seating 4 guests, large living room (great room), den bedroom with double full bed & workspace (walk through), master bedroom with king bed, attached bathroom with walk in shower (no tub).

***Feel free to request a video of the rental suite from the host after booking.

This rental suite has direct access to the back patio, shared back yard & shared laundry room, through the SLIDING DOOR in the living room.

LAUNDRY ROOM

The LAUNDRY ROOM IS SHARED & is located at the back yard off of the back patio. It is separate from the home. The door is labeled LAUNDRY. There is a front loader washer and dryer available. There is no AC in the laundry room- there is a portable AC unit in the laundry room.

BACK YARD

The desert landscape BACK YARD IS SHARED. It features a Mountain View in the yard, covered pergola, outdoor sectional couch beneath, wood burning fire pit, small charcoal grill, dining area on the patio seats 4 with plenty of additional seating In the yard. Guests may use the table torches & tiki torches, fire pit & grill. There are figs & pomegranates growing on the trees which guests are welcome to eat.

***CHILDREN

THIS SPACE IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR INFANTS OR YOUNG CHILDREN UNDER AGE 13 AS PER RULES. DO NOT BRING CHILDREN UNDER AGE 13.

***THERMOSTAT

There is a locked smart thermostat in the guest suite next door. Host manages the smart thermostat remotely. Guests can contact host to adjust thermostat setting if necessary. The HVAC unit is shared by both suites.

***RENTAL SUITE NEXTDOOR

Guests may vaguely hear noise from the suite next door if other guests or the host are staying. If any noise issues arise, guests should contact the host to address immediately Host is very responsive at any hour regarding any noise complaints.

***PARKING

There are 2 parking spaces in the driveway in front of the garage and 1 space on the street in front of the home.

***SAFETY

The home is professionally monitored through Frontpoint Security System. The property features exterior cameras, door and window sensors, indoor glass break sensors, and indoor motion detectors. NO INDOOR CAMERAS.

Awesome place and beautiful back yard, walls are thin and sound can be heard
Very clean and the host was super responsive to any concerns. Good location. Be aware that this is a place where you can hear the people through the wall if someone is staying in the other suite. It states this on the listing and signs are posted to keep quiet. For 3 nights in a row, I had to listen to the other person snoring on the other side of the wall. The air purifier, fan, and my app on my phone were not enough to drown out the noise. If you sleep lightly, this isn’t for you if others have booked the other suite. It is also a shared backyard and laundry room.

Nice Clean Town Home in Phoenix
Overall, the place was clean and functional. The layout is a bit funky, with the only bathroom in the back of the unit through the bedroom. The studio room bed was smaller than expected. My 6'5" son made it work but it was not the size that was expected for the occupancy listed. The laundry room is shared, and the neighbor had used all the dryer sheets before we did our laundry. The location was convenient with easy freeway access for getting around town. We enjoyed the facility, and the Host was very responsive.

Great 3 night stay! Loved the backyard and the kitchen is filled with every cooking utensil needed. Walls are a little thin but none the less a peaceful vacation. Host had great communication !!!

We had wonderful contact with our host, the house was very clean and the backyard area was especially nice. The other half of the house was occupied, but completely separate and we had our own private entrance and place to park our car. I would recommend this location and will stay here next time we come to Phoenix.

Amazing stay!
The host was so nice and communicative. The property was spotless and clean. The neighborhood and property felt very safe overall. We were not very familiar with the area, but we felt like we were close to most things (groceries, restaurants, tourist spots). No major noise issues or complaints. Overall it was a lovely experience and we would 100% stay there again. PSA - the city requires you to submit to a background check with your photo ID. You must submit these to the host prior to your stay. We had issues with the App and had to share them outside of VRBO. The host took our privacy concerns very seriously (and this is more of a reflection on VRBO of for user experience when booking in places that require these things) - but this is an issue you may face regarding privacy. Hopefully VRBO can fix this.

Wonderful place and clean - comfy bed, nice shower, den set-up was nice for some remote work, full kitchen, laundry room, beautiful outdoor space with fire pit. Location was close to many shops, restaurants, I-17, downtown area, short ride to Scottsdale. Highly recommend and would stay again!!!!

A Rare Gem
This place was beautiful ❤️ quite , peaceful and beyond pleasant! The place was clean , comfortable, well put together and convenient. Beyond that expect the best host that you will ever have !! They go above and beyond! I forgot my spa bag ... Was this an issue .. absolutely not the place was completely stocked with everything a woman could need or want . Food was already in the fridge. Any spice or baking things you would desire. Fully stocked . I would definitely recommend this place ! To my host once again I thank you from the bottom of my heart ! Your the best ! Great Stay close to GCU.
Very clean overall the bed was very up to date and comfortable. Neighborhood was very quiet and the outdoor patio provided a nice relaxing atmosphere. Close to the preserve area for morning walks with quail and desert wildlife. Good location for north Phoenix access. Would use again.

6 week stay
The pictured home has been divided into two rental spaces. Ours had all we needed for a long stay including a full kitchen/dining/living room space, a separate bedroom/bathroom with a low but very comfortable king bed, and included plenty of closet/drawer space, and a walk thru "den" space in between those spaces which were adequate for laptop use and/or 2nd bedroom. A washer/dryer off the patio was much appreciated. Unfortunately, the weather was not consistently nice enough to enjoy the back yard but has plenty of room and amenities to enjoy. Noise thru the walls to the other side of the house can be annoying and a few of the neighbors are, well, neighbors. Jen was always highly responsive to any issues and made our stay easier and more enjoyable. We appreciated her hosting.

This has nice decor and plenty of room. Our only disappointment was it is very easy to hear the people in the other side of the unit. This is mentioned in the book of instructions, but at that point, you are already in the rental. With young children rising early and unfortunately a sick child one night, sleep was a little tough.
