"I found rooms are dirty & dusty. Requiring wipe down on items/furnitures. Room is run down & in need of renovation. Staff are very friendly & helpful, like King & Pepe. Pool was wonderful giving kids 3 different one to choose from. Breakfast buffet is wonderful & lots of selection. Love they had golf cart to drive out to main road. Resort restuarants arent great. Too commercialized to westerners. Padthai was not authentic at all...too much ketchup. "

"The Royal Wing was absolutely top notch. The room was an absolutely elegant traditional Thai decor , and so comfy. The food is great, the staff is amazing and so welcoming, I will absolutely be back here soon! Just a great experience all around.. and by the way, for those travelers who like a good strong air-conditioning (like me) in the room, these rooms definitely have it! "I booked a poolside room, after looking at 4 rooms, all of which smelled of mold, I asked to see an upper floor room. The room had old furniture and was not in good condition at all but I accepted this room and negotiated a discount on motorbike rental to compensate for the price difference. There were further issues with the room, including the shower heater leaking to the extent that no water came from the shower. "Great condo, everything is close by. Central mall, beach road, etc. I didn't like that I wasn't informed when i checked in that they would be installing shower glass in the middle of my stay. I could have planned around the installation but instead they woke me up to install it. Afterwards i was told not to use the shower for 5 hours. Besides that the stay was great and I will definitely be back. "
