"Hotel staff was very efficient, helpful and courteous….. check in was fast, hot soup was waiting for guests that evening. Breakfast was perfect with something for everyone! Side note - outside was very dark - no lights in parking lot or in check in “parking” not safe for someone who is alone. "

"I have been staying here a few times over the last 3 months and love it. Now I know why some celebrities live in hotels for years. This place is way too classy for little old Independence, OR. This is a big city, modern, and well thought out hotel. And the staff has become like family. Very clean, the food is amazing, and the views are charming. I've stayed at other hotels like this that are $500.00 to $800.00 a night and still don't offer as much as this does. I think the reason for the lower price is because the location is 12 miles from the nearest big city (Salem). Do yourself a favor and drive the distance. You won't be disappointed."
