While the hotel structure is beautiful, however, my stay was not. It was agitating that even though I went through the app speaking to someone at the hotel the morning of the day we were checking in, there were still issues due to inventiveness. We were there for his birthday and Father’s Day. It was a sub par experience. Normally at check in at places they ask if it’s a special occasion. They asked other guests, not us. We had an executive corner suite. One view was an apartment building 20’ away and the other was the hospital. Not worth the money whatsoever. I asked for specific card to be charged, that was not done. They charged two cards for the incidental fee. I understand mistakes happen, however, I was thorough in explaining I wanted one card charged the room fee and another the incidental charge. I was told it’s my fault for booking through Expedia. In the last two months I’ve stayed at two other hotels, one of which a Marriott property and it was no issue. Bottom line. I do not recommend. The view was terrible. The staff was completely remiss to what I was asking. I kept having to pull up my chat in the app for them to understand. It was an annoying overall experience.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of homeless in this section of Philadelphia but that is not due to anything the hotel is or is not doing unless they can get more involved in the local government to address this issue.

I absolutely love this hotel! The decor was beautiful. The staff were kind and very helpful. Also enjoyed the restaurant ! This is the perfect location if you want to be near shopping sightseeing and some wonderful restaurants thank you for making my roots picnic stay the best one yet!
