Our room just wasn’t very clean. Floor was sticky, there were hair and eyelashes behind the bathroom faucet. The duvet and bed cover were both dirty and the duvet was way too small; it probably would’ve fit a full size bed and we had a king. There was old dirt around the light switches and it was very obvious, as soon as we opened the door, that the room had been smoked in.

We were given a room that when we got to it with the key, were told by cleaning staff it was not ready. We returned to the front desk, given keys to a different room. We were in there no more than 30 min & the toilet over flowed. After calling 2 times to get maintenance help & no one came in an hr , we then begged just at least for a plunger. I then had to go down stairs again to the desk and demand a different room. The service person had just came onto his shift & was never made aware of our situation! But he nice assigned us the 3rd room! Although this was an upgrade to a suite with 2 bedrooms, which we didn’t need, it was very much filled with the smell of cigarette smoke. We were tired of dealing with the problems, were very tired and just gave up at this point!

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It feels like my home away from home. the entire staff is friendly, knowledgable and efficient. I want to give special thanks to Kenny, who makes my breakfast so enjoyable with his efficiency and music to get my day started right. Also Ashlynn is so sweet, helpful and friendly at the front desk. Jonathan, the general manager is fantastic. It's obvious he is a good manager because he hires and retains good staff.
