This property is conveniently located in the heart of Philadelphia. It is a nice place. The doors are locked after 10 pm which is good due to the amount of homeless/unhoused in the area. The unhoused were no bother. The parking is next door but not associated with the hotel. You can pay for your entire parking when you get there. It's a 1-minute walk back into the hotel. The famous Reading Terminal Market is across the street.
Although it appears that it was recently updated, there are still several features from the 2010s. The flat-screen TVs are 1080p, have no way to connect your streaming services, and are oddly placed in the room. All of the bed mattresses felt like we were sleeping on the pull-out mattress with how thin and worn they were. The heater worked well and kept us warm during our stay in the heart of winter. The shower water pressure was fine and the temperature was good. The rooms usually have a full fridge but after moving three times we wound up in a room with a regular mini fridge. Not the best for a family of five.
The lobby was clean and welcoming. The staff was helpful with the few issues we had. We never made it to the breakfast so I am not sure how it is but it is a nice feature for which we chose to stay there.
