"I am usually in Basel at least once a year and of the four or five hotels I have stayed in this is definitely my favourite. It is conveniently located for the centre of the city and buses to the airport and railway stations and all of the staff on the front desk are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a large room, offered a late checkout and a discount voucher for food and non-alcoholic drinks, all of which were much appreciated. "

"Very charming hotel. Close to Old Town, museums, and shopping. Unfortunately, all the shops were closed as it was Easter Weekend. This was just a one night stay to get accustomed to the 7 hour time difference. The room was very tidy, had everything we needed and an extremely comfortable bed. The staff was more than helpful. Thank You"

"I chose to return to this hotel as I so enjoyed it the previous week and as it had a restaurant “Au Bureau” at the end of the road and I wasn’t disappointed. friendly check in, nice room (with - yippee- bath tub. comfy bed, nice view from 3rd floor with shutters and opening window. recently redecorated and very smart. enjoyed ribs and excellent local riesling at Au B followed by good night’s sleep. train leaving at 07.10 meant I couldn’t have breakfast but, the hotel being only a few hundred yards from the main train station, meant that I didn’t have to leave until ten minutes before- once again recommend for quality, condition, location and nearby restaurants "
