"We had a fabulous week, we were met by the lovely Florence when we arrived who showed us around and explained the property. The photographs online do not really do it justice and it exceeded our expectations.The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and all bathrooms had a hairdryer. The separate laundry room with an additional refrigerator was a bonus. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows if needed. The beautiful garden was huge and well maintained with stunning views over the valley....

"Stayed in the upstairs appartment which run the length of the building .Very well equipped with washing machine and a dish washer,a welcome surprise. The pool is in a secluded garden location. Negatives Our end bedroom had a strange en suite bathroom arrangement. A screen instead of a wall. A Jack n Jill sink taking up space that could have been used for a toilet and single sink. A bit odd!."

"Très belles vacances. Un accueil chaleureux, un endroit merveilleux. Que dire de plus. Nous avons été soignés aux petits oignons par notre hôte. La région est magnifique. Il y a beaucoup de choses à voir et à visiter à seulement quelques kilomètres ! La maison est très agréable et il ne manque absolument rien ! Nous sommes repartis avec pleins d'étoiles dans les yeux..."

"Le Soutenac is a generous and comfortable place to enjoy rural French life. The description of the house was very accurate and there were no hidden surprises! The kitchen is large and well-equipped, there are many places to sit, eat, drink or relax. The boulangerie was shut for the first half of our stay but Neuvic is an easy cycle away (I guess even Mme Boulanger needs a holiday!)"

"Magali and Manu were very welcoming and helpful. We were very comfortable in the studio, particularly since the thick stone walls helped the flat to stay cool in the recent heatwave. We enjoyed the garden, the pool, the peace and quiet and sound of the birds. We were impressed with the safety features around the pool. It's a great base to tour the area and we enjoyed going into Montignac and Terrasson. The 'honesty shop' across the square provides a remarkable range of organic produce, wine,...
