The 5 bedrooms are spacious and with 3 bathrooms, there was never a queue in the morning or evening. The acoomodation is equipped with a large inside kitchen and a large outside kitching with big BBQ. "Wir waren schon mehrmals in Roquebrun und kennen eine Reihe von Häusern dort. Dieses hier ist klar unter den besten. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig; es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer im Hauptgebäude mit einem "richtigen" Doppelbett und einem Bett mit 1,60m; im selben Zimmer ist noch ein Einzelbett. In beiden Schlafzimmern gibt es eine Klimaanlage. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet; eine Salatschüssel wäre schön und eine Ordnungsmöglichkeit für die Töpfe und Pfannen (Regal o.ä.). "We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful villa. The pool is amazing, and what a fabulous view from the terrace we will definitely miss that! The check in process was very straightforward and helpful. The area is stunning and there is lots to do if you like walking, cycling or canoeing. Day trips to Béziers and Carcassonne are also possible. The shop in the village is also worth a mention, it’s amazing and has everything you will need. Definitely 10/10."

"What a great property to stay in, in a perfect town. Great restaurants. Great wine. Loads to do. My only one little improvement would be a proper oven. There is a combination oven/microwave which is ok but would have preferred an actual oven. However this wouldn’t stop me booking again"

"Great location, lovely house. Unfortunately the French doors were jammed in the living room so we remained in darkness here for a day and a half. The TV never worked even though we constantly tried to reboot the Orange box as we had been told to do by the owner. Great Pool and river view."

"Peaceful, historical and rustic property with welcoming service. In early January, only 1 restaurant was open. We walked Le Voie Vert to Lamalou les Bains for lunch. It was about a 40 minute stroll. Uber doesn't work. We used a taxi service to get to and from Béziers. "

Wonderful house, we loved everything about it

"Fantastic spacious house for our group, especially enjoyed the fantastic pool and BBQ area. Beautiful part of France, lots of options (hiking, beaches, city visits etc). So good to have A/C in the bedrooms as it was very hot during our stay. "

Good villa, great location

"Had a lovely time in Roquebrun. Andre is a great host, very friendly, easily contactable, quick to respond, fantastic local knowledge and excellent English (thanks). The pool was cleaned often and there is lots of space. Roquebrun is lovely and the villa location is great - under 10 minutes walk to the restaurants a small supermarket and a bakery. Kayaking, wine tasting and river/beach nearby Very well equipped kitchen with lots of crockery, glasses, pans and 2 large fridges. We were there during a heatwave and as described, there is only AirCon in the living room. The very high temperatures made the upstairs bedrooms unbearable even though Andre did source some fans for us. Nothing to be done about it really, just a fact of life. The outside area by the pool has limited shade provided by trees and although the terrace has shade all day, the seating is not that comfortable to spend long periods there. We managed to find enough shade but there were only 5 of us. Remember that there is 100 euro charge for bedding. We thought we could deal with that on arrival but we should have let Andre know in advance. Andre, did manage to sort out the bedding with 2 days notice though. 100 euro does seem a bit expensive for the bedding and towels. You could probably buy a set for that. I would think about the time of year and I would have found it crowded for 8 people. Overall we had a lovely time in a great location and a good villa with an excellent host. Thanks Andre. "
