"This is a nice hotel with great location, but not having an AC in the middle of August heat wave really spoiled the experience. We spent two quite miserable and sweaty nights, while otherwise, happy with the service, rooms, and breakfast."

"The hotel has no sign on the facade, and it was stressing to find it without that. There is no concierge and the registration is strange, with a WhatsApp communication to a staff member, having to take picture of the passport and send it over via WhatsApp or email, which is strange and concerning. Also concerning is a “contract” that we are asked to sign in order to get access to the building. I found the process very strange and concerning. "This approaches a contactless, minimalist hotel. Check-in is through an ATM-like computer interface. I had my reservation details, emails, and codes and checked in quickly and without incident. However, two other parties were left outside for 15+ minutes, calling on multiple cell phones, yelling in German. The room was clean and efficient, but had minimal comfort items. "An exceptionally nice hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. An attractive back terrace was a very pleasant spot for a carry in meal. The breakfast buffet offered unusual variety, very fresh and well prepared and presented. Many healthy choices including freshly prepared vegetable juices. "

"We had a wonderful stay in this lovely inn. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I could have stayed in all day to enjoy the view of the Danube. Dinner on the terrace was excellent and featured fresh and seasonal dishes. The breakfast buffet offered excellent variety and quality too. "

"Our stay was perfect! Our kids (8,6 and 4) had a blast with all the animals - Guinea pigs, bunnies, new kittens. Anita was a fantastic hostess. She always had suggestions for us of things to do in the area. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. It was such a relaxing and lovely place. A fantastic swing on the top of the hillside, a pool overlooking the valley. They even built a fire for us one night. The history of the house is amazing. They have put so much work into it over the years. Definitely...

Excellent location. Walk able to many aménités.

"Overall very good. Excellent location. Issue with Checkin which was at a hotel 100 feet or so uphill from this hôtel. Notice of this was done only at entrance to hotel. Breakfast also serves at the other hôtel. Both hotels have same Owner. "

"Nice apartment on oldest street in Melk. Easy to follow instructions for entry. Clean and convenient. Window opened onto Main Street. "This hotel is located at the town center and is very convenient for everything. The staffs are very friendly. I appreciate the receptionist introducing me the idea of biking in the Wachau valley. I rented a bike from the hotel for 20e/day and had a good time riding to Splitz and return (for about 5 hours). The hotel also provided me a helmet for free. I want to thank the hotel and to recommend visitors to consider this activity. "
