Thanks to the typical Austrian use of wood, the modern house has a cosy atmosphere where you can relax. Thanks to the large windows and spacious balcony, a beautiful view of the mountains the Hohe Riffler and the Gampen towards St. Anton haunts you through the house. In summer, enjoy your breakfast on the balcony in the Austrian mountain air
Within walking distance you will find a small supermarket and a wellness park where you can relax after an active day.
In winter, Pettneu is part of the Arlberg ski area, which is the largest and most prestigious ski area in Austria with over 300km of slopes. It offers slopes for all levels and freeride possibilities with lift access that are unique in Austria. The resorts of St. Anton - St. Christoph - Stuben - Lech - Zürs - Warth and Schröcken are linked together in one ski area and can be accessed directly on skis. Ski Arlberg is located on the border between Tyrol and Vorarlberg and is known as a snow hole; an above-average amount of snow falls here every year. Cross-country skiers also benefit from this winter wonderland, as 40 kilometres of trails are available to them.
The ski bus is only a 5-minute walk from the house, the journey time is 7min to the Nassereinbahn and 10min to the Galzigbahn in St. Anton.
In summer, the Arlberg offers a wonderful network of hiking and mountain bike trails through untouched nature. Pettneu am Arlberg is located at the foot of the Hohe Riffler in the romantic Stanzertal valley. Although St. Anton is nearby, there is no mass tourism here.
Pettneu am Arlberg is directly accessible via the Arlberg motorway. Innsbruck (and its airport) is just over an hour's drive away. From the airport, the Arlberg Express train goes to Anton am Arlberg. Sankt Anton train station is just 10 bus minutes away from the apartment
