"I can’t say this enough, the service at this hotel is top of the line. We had an issue with our room upon check in and the team at the hotel checked on us multiple times to ensure that everything was ok. They truly showed understanding and compassion throughout our stay. The amenities provided at Grand Park are the best I’ve seen in Croatia and would highly recommend. "We had a bucket list trip to Italy and this hotel was the best place, and really made our trip memorable and terrific! We especially loved Erika, who we called because we were lost in our car’s navigation trying to find it. Erika calmed us down and said on the phone “you’re ok, you’re close, and I’m going to stay on the phone with you until you get here” and then she quickly helped us understand why the valet service was the best route, much better than trying to find a parking spot on those...

"Wir wohnten zu fünft ( 2 Erwachsene und drei Kinder) in einer Villa . Davon gibt es mehrere, die aneinander gebaut sind. Die Villa hat zwei Schlafzimmer ( ein Doppelbett und ein französisches Bett) und eine Schlafcouch. Zusätzlich eine kleine Küchenzeile und zwei Bäder (1xDusche und 1x Duschwanne). Das Appartement ist sauber, aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Positiv ist die Klimaanlage im Appartement. "We visited Trieste for 2 days and this was my first time in this city. The location of the hotel was fantastic, we walked everywhere! Also, it looks like the hotel was recently renovated, but everything was impeccable! The room was very spacious and beautiful! Highly recommended! "

"I love this place. I’ve stayed a few times and I’ll probably return. The staff, food and location are amazing!! There was however a persistent smell resembling backed up sewer. It wasn’t overwhelming but it was off putting. I walked onto a couple other floors and it was throughout the entire building. "

" Beautiful hotel, all rooms are facing the coast. Swimming pool with warm sea water is excellent. Parking is little bit outside of the hotel and might not have enough space. Walking distance to both Portoroz and Piran. The only complaint is no air conditioning in October. It is still warm during the day. Open windows work at night. "

"I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. I wanted to stay in Piran but choose this hotel initially for two reasons: (a) it was walking distance along a promenade to Piran and offered free parking; and (b) it would be staying in a slice of history as the form of the hotel (though not the renovated interiors) harked back to the more brutalist days of the Yugoslav Republic. Then I got there - the staff were unfailingly lovely; the room was big (after several days of tiny rooms); each room has an expansive sea view; the breakfast was out of this world; and it was a beautiful promenade in front of the hotel along the sea. It was really a singular experience and one of the reasons that Piran was a highlight of the trip. My mother (70 yo) felt very poorly on the last night of the trip and was quite ill during the night. As we didn't have to leave to go to the airport until 4pm, I requested a late-check out. Not only did they give my mother the room until 4pm, but they didn't accept extra payment for the additional time in the room. Honestly I can't recommend this hotel more highly!"
