Modern Home in Historic Bay View

This modern home (2002) is located within the Historic Bay View community. The Bay View campus, auditorium & beach are within walking & biking distance. Our house has central heat & A/C, and modern kitchen, washer & drier.
No Smoking indoors & outdoors on the entire property.
Bay View is a Methodist Chautauqua and has many activities during the summer. This is a quiet contemplative area and no loud boisterous behavior will be allowed that might bother our neighbors..
3 bedrooms:
1) a queen bed & Full Bath downstairs,
2) a queen bed & Bath upstairs and
3) twin beds Bath upstairs.
If you bring your bicycles, Bay View is a wonderful place to bike to any of your destinations in Bay View. The city of Petoskey is just a few minutes bike ride away. There are also bike paths that go all the way from Charlevoix to Mackinaw City & Harbor Springs.

Perfect location in bayview.
We stayed a week in this wonderful home in bayview, minutes from petoskey. It was truly a great experience. We have an infant and a toddler and the house fit us perfectly. Walking distance playgrounds, tennis courts and nature trails in bayview. Short car or bike ride to petoskey and petoskey state park which has a great beach. The house has everything you’d ever want for cooking and it was very clean and welcoming. Malcolm and jamila were wonderful hosts and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Charming Creekside Bayview Home / Ideal Location
Our family of 4 adults had the pleasure of staying in this lovely home in the beautiful Bayview Association of Little Traverse Bay. The spacious home is comfortable and furnished in a nautical cottage theme. We loved the private upstairs master bedroom/ensuite bathroom and first floor bedroom with a bathroom across the hall. The kitchen was very well stocked. We cooked or prepared the majority of our meals in the kitchen and always found exactly what we needed. We enjoyed family meals at the spacious dining room table and on the covered porch overlooking the creek and garden in the backyard. Hosts Malcolm and Jamila greeted us on arrival and showed us around. Malcolm is a gracious, responsive host. He shared his family's local history and told us about the Bayview Chatauqua. We loved walking around the quiet tree lined streets among the beautiful Victorian homes, a self-guided tour of the Chatauqua buildings/grounds and dining at The Terrace Inn. Bayview Woods preserve is an extra bonus with 4 miles of lovely shaded trails. Guidebooks are available at the cottage. Bayview has its own beach accessible by a pedestrian bridge across Rt. 31. The house is very close to a Downtown Petoskey Shuttle pick up. We walked/biked the Greenway Trail, Little Traverse Wheelway and hiked many beautiful Little Traverse Conservancy trails. We visited Petoskey State Park, Oden Fish Hatchery, and drove the Tunnel of Trees. We can't wait to return and highly recommend this home/ location!
