"Property in perfect conditions, excellent facilities and super friendly and efficient staff. I was there during a typhoon level 3 alert. The airport was closed and a lot of clients got struck. The front desk, concierge and guest relations were simply amazing! The management did huge efforts to minimize clients’ discomfort. Amazing! "

"Excellent! Just left the ravenala following 5 night stay. We had no compliants at all. We stayed in the adult zone where you get your own bean bag loungers on the beach. The room was very clean, housekeeping are incredible. Each day the room was spotless and care taken with items in the room. All the staff were Mauritian and the difference is so noticeable that when you go to other non-Beachcomber hotels where much of the staff is seasonably imported and the standards are so poor. "It's an older hotel that needs a renovation, although the room was very clean and tidy every day. Hotel offers a good variety of continental and exotic dishes to choose from. "The staff at the venue made our holiday for us. My wife has a number of dietary requirements and the staff went out of their way to cater for her in all cases. Nothing was too much of a problem. The only negative me and my partner could find was the lack of vegetarian options on the restaurants menus. "The property is really great. It’s quiet and close to Mon Choisy beach. The service from the staff was excellent. They have sister hotel which has very nice restaurant (Le Skipper). I used a rental car but I think you can still manage with public bus nearby."

"Great apartment. Very quiet. Well maintained. Very helpful host. Regular cleaning. Only downside is it’s a bit of a walk to the beach/town but they do offer a shuttle if you need it. We had a hire car so it wasn’t really a problem. "

"The LUX hotel deserves its 5 star status. It has great facilities for both families with & without children and even has an adult only beach area. Main gripe was the fact that the sea is so shallow you can hardly get any depth to swim properly which I felt was a shame. The staff are second to none. Shout out to Sandeep in reception, Neru & Vishal in the buffet restaurant area who were excellent "
