"Jim is a lovely and responsive host. The property is just as pictured on the website. The home is a treasure trove of objects from around the world. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen has most all conveniences that we needed to prepare meals. We were there in early November, I'm sure it is even more beautiful during the summer and autumn months when you can enjoy the outside features. "

"Love the location nestled in the woods, the quiet brook burbling past the firepit, the homey pinewood interior, the fully stocked kitchen, the delicious jam and cookies gift. We stayed two nights while climbing Nelson Rocks and wish we had stayed longer. Thanks so much for your hospitality...if I owned a cabin like that, I'd never leave!"

"A friend and I rendezvoused in the Canaan Valley in early November to hike in the nearby Dolly Sods and other trails in the area. Garagemahal was exactly as advertised: clean, quiet, spacious (for two people), and conveniently located. The owners/managers (Chip and Laurie), who live across the driveway, were friendly and available to provide information or report problems to (there weren't any), but were otherwise unobtrusive. We will return."

"My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and were pleasantly surprised by all the host had to offer! From complimentary snacks and drinks and a well stocked kitchen, to comfortable beds and a cozy wood-burning fireplace, we truly felt at home. The binder of information about the area went above and beyond, giving us lots of ideas for activities and destinations. Having dry wood available for the fireplace was a great bonus. Everything was clean and in good condition. We could tell that the condo was loved and taken care of, and that our host wanted us to feel comfortable during our stay at their home."

"We were extremely impressed with Lost River Luxury Cabin! It exceeded our expectations! The house had every amenity you could need. We loved having the fire wood stacked outside our door ready for a cozy evening sitting on a huge comfortable learner couch in front of the crackling flames. They even had an extended utensil to toast marshmallows for some Smores! The interior was decorated very tastefully and the construction is superb! One of our best VRBO stays and we’ve been to quite a few! Location was very private and relaxing with a wonderful view. "
