"We have had a wonderful week in Finca Vergel, Gata. The hosts, Rosa and Sebastian were warm and welcoming, the rooms were very comfortable with great attention to detail. The beautifully tended garden is filled with olive and a variety fruit trees, and to be able to wander down to the river was an added bonus. Rosa’s hearty breakfast was the ideal start to the day, for visiting all the interesting medieval villages in the area. She is a fountain of knowledge about these places, and her...

great stay, well worth a visit

"We really enjoyed the historic aspect of the hotel and the way it has been modernized for comfort, while preserving the historic building. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We had both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant and both meals were wonderful. We particularly appreciated the excellent customer service by Rocio in the bar/restaurant and Guadeloupe at the front desk. They both were very friendly and helpful. "
