Surrounded by the nature of the Val Pedogna, near the natural park of the Alpi Apuane, in a secluded and quiet position, the Residence “Ai Sorbi” is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The entire property has been recently renovated and equipped with elegant furniture, with the typical Tuscan architecture mixed up with a modern style. The owner Andrea Salvetti is an artist who built this home with the help of some of the best designers (E.Sottsass, G.Pesce,A.Ciffo etc.). Moreover, the position of the house is really perfect, since it is surrounded by the nature of a valley but 22 km away from Lucca and 35 km away from the sea. You can easily reach the Garfagnana, with its typical products (porcino mushrooms, chestnuts flour and hulled wheat), as well as Pisa, Florence, Siena and other Tuscan destinations. The stone swimming pool is 13x6 m and you can get to the property through 500 m of a paved road.

Beautifull environment but old smelly house
The house seems old and smells, pool to share with other guests from house nearby (not clear in advertising - we thought it was only 1 house with pool to share with family). Pool even though very nice and environment beautifull. Hostess very friendly.

Lovely Italian retreat!
We enjoyed our stay in this cottage in the Italian mountains. Although weather was not the best, the fellas still tried out the outdoor pool. Our host, Patrizia was very responsive even answering our call after midnight as we were a bit lost trying to find the location in the dark. The cottage is very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable although WiFi was non existent in the unit we stayed in. Also having 2 bathrooms was a bonus with 4 adults. Overall we had a very nice stay!

A beautiful house on top of the mountain. Great views, fully equipped kitchen, good beds and a great and beautiful pool. The road to the house is not for everyone. My wife is scared of heights so that did not help. My daughter and I loved the little off road part. One point of critism: the house is a little bit smelly. Maybe because of the workshop that is attached to the house. I let Patrizia know and she told me she would address it.

Very relaxing stay at Serore
We spent two very relaxing weeks at Serore. We were in the "Sorbi" appartment, which is a separate house from the main building (approx. 50m away). It was spacious (3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) and clean with a fully equipped kitchen (incl. dishwasher). There is also a small roofed eating area outside and a lawn with deck charis overlooking the valley. The place is remote, but therefore very quiet and peaceful. The host, Patrizia, sent detailed instructions of how to get to Serore. She also made a reservation in an excellent restaurant nearby for us and had a lot of tips and recommendations. Overall, Patrizia is really a great host! The swimming pool is shared with the other apartment, which was no problem at all. Everyone enjoyed the pool very much. In summary, we had a great time at Serore, and we would absolutely recommend it for a relaxing vacation.

There are two properties at this location, we stayed in the standoff farmhouse nearest the drive. A wonderful quirky Italian farmhouse which is well looked after. The views are incredible and are not easily surpassed. This property does not have aircon or WIFI but is equipped with fans and window shutters. WIFI signal is available if you approach the main farmhouse property. There is a lovely swimming pool which is shared between the two properties, it is well maintained and does not feel cluttered. The views and peacefulness of the location are outstanding and is ideal for an escape from normality. Not necessarily ideal for teenagers unless they are content with limited outside contact - but for adults wanting a relaxing and peaceful holiday it is ideal. Our host Patrizia is very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. You will need a car for this location as walking to the nearest village is difficult given the narrow roads and hilly countryside.

Ruhig und relativ schwierig zu erreichen
Eine ruhige Unterkunft, sehr nette Vermieterin, gut ausgestattetes Haus. Unternehmungen wie Spaziergänge in direkter Umgebung sind, gerade für ältere Menschen, nicht möglich. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind nicht zu Fuß zu erreichen, man benötigt immer ein Fahrzeug.

Wir haben eine tolle Woche im Serore verbracht. Die Lage des Hauses oben am Berg ist sehr idyllisch und für Naturliebhaber, die gerne die Ruhe und Schönheit der Natur genießen wollen. Das Highlight für unsere Kinder 13 und 14 Jahre war der große Pool, der ausgiebig genutzt wurde. Alle wichtigen Städte wie Pisa, Florenz, Livorno und Lucca sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen und auch ein Supermarkt liegt nicht weit weg von der Unterkunft. Die Besitzerin Patrizia ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, auf alle Fragen haben wir per WhatsApp umgehend eine Antwort bekommen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Dear Patrizia, thank you very much for the fantastic stay in Serore and your kind support at any time. Wunderschöner ruhiger Ort zum Entspannen
2 Wochen in absoluter Alleinlage auf der „kleinen Farm“… Man wohnt abgelegen von jeglichem Trubel. Man ist herzlich willkommen, mit einer überaus freundlichen und zuvorkommender Vermieterin. Man wohnt in einem kleinem Steinhaus in den toskanischen Bergen. Großer sauberer Pool inklusive separaten Liegebereich ist vorhanden. Die Anreise ist etwas ungewöhnlich, da man den letzten Kilometer auf einem Schotterweg den Berg rauf fährt. Ist aber mit jedem handelsüblichen PKW ohne Probleme zu bewerkstelligen. (Sogar mit einem 5er BMW mit M-Paket). Also sich nicht abschrecken lassen :-) Zur nächsten Einkaufsmöglchkeit (Supermarkt) muss man ein paar Kilometer fahren ( schöne Stadt Lucca). Wer zum Meer fahren möchte (z.B. nach Viareggio) muss ca. 45 km Fahrweg in Kauf nehmen (wundervoller Sandstrand).

Tolles Ferienhaus inmitten der Natur
Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus von Patrizia. Das Ferienhaus liegt mitten in der Natur und nur knapp 30 Minuten von Lucca mit dem Auto entfernt. Für Ausflüge in die nördliche Toskana inkl. Pisa und Florenz für uns ideal. Die letzten 200m der Anfahrt über eine steile unbefestigte Straße bzw. Schotterpiste ist zwar ein wenig abenteuerlich, aber für nicht tiefergelegte PKW auch ohne Allradantrieb durchaus zu meistern. Danke für den tollen Urlaub!

A wonderful stay
We had a very nice holiday. Beautiful house, nice swimming pool, lots of privacy. Location is beautiful, but somewhat remote. This means it takes a little longer to get there, via a challenging road. Also no reception for 4 or 5G, WiFi is limited. No problem for us, more time to read, play games and relax. Plenty to see in the area, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno, Pistoia etc. We ate at El Paso Trattoria Pizzeria in Lucca, highly recommended!

Rustgevend vakantiehuis
Ruim en licht huis boven op een berg met goedwerkende airco. Prachtig zwembad en totale rust. Voor mensen die op zoek zijn naar rust is dit een ideale locatie. Minder geschikt voor pubers. Goede Wifi, maar verder geen bereik (telefoon/mobiele data). Muffe lucht in de slaapkamer beneden en een en ander is aan vervanging toe. Toegangsweg is zoals beschreven een uitdaging, maar het went. Als het goed is wordt de weg komende winter verbeterd volgens de gastvrouw.

Schönes Ferienhaus in den Bergen
Das Ferienhaus liegt wunderschön in den Bergen nahe Lucca. Die Zufahrt geht über eine sehr kleine Straße, aber mit einem normalen Pkw ist das gut machbar. Wir wurden freundlich von Patrizia begrüßt, auch die Abreise ging ganz unkompliziert. Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet. Es gibt eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit großem Gasherd. Die Zimmer boten ausreichend Platz und die Betten waren bequem. Während unseres Aufenthalts war es recht heiß, aber die in jedem Raum vorhandenen Klimaanlagen haben gut geholfen. Zu Abkühlung gibt es auch den großen Pool, den wir ausgiebig genutzt haben und vom dem aus man einen schönen Blick in die Berglandschaft hat. In der direkten Umgebung des Ferienhauses gibt es nicht viel, nur Wald und winzige Dörfer, es ist sehr schön ruhig. Bis nach Lucca fährt man nur etwa 25 Minuten, der nächste große Supermarkt ist etwa 20 Minuten entfernt, in geringerer Entfernung gibt es auch noch eine Bäckerei und einige Restaurants. In der Umgebung gibt es auch verschiedenste Möglichkeiten für Freizeitaktivitäten, z.B. die "Grotta del vento", eine tolle Tropfsteinhöhle, diverse kleine Parks für SUP, Canyoning und vielem mehr. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und hoffentlich können wir noch einmal wiederkommen.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus in der Natur
Wir haben eine tolle Woche in den Osterferien in Serore verbracht. Die Unterkunft hat genau unseren Geschmack getroffen, da sie ab vom Trubel auf einem wunderschönen Naturgrundstück liegt. Die Anfahrt erfolgt über ein sehr kleines Sträßchen und schließlich auch über einen Feldweg, alles aber mit einem normalen Auto gut machbar und mit der detaillierten Wegbeschreibung gut auffindbar. Wir wurden an dem Ferienhaus sehr herzlich von Patrizia empfangen und die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und auch die Betten waren für uns sehr bequem. Insbesondere nachts wurde es noch sehr kühl draußen, aber die Heizung funktionierte gut. Der Pool war um diese Jahreszeit natürlich noch nicht in Betrieb, aber die Liegestühle luden zum Erholen in der Sonne ein. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert!

Idyllisches Schmuckstück
Die Fahrt zum Haus war eher abenteuerlich aber gut machbar. Das Haus liegt mitten im Wald. Es ist wunderbar ruhig dort. Durch das nahe Haupthaus ist Kontakt jeder Zeit möglich. Die Anwohner sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Das Hauptschlafzimmer bildet mit der Empore und Lesesesseln mit Blick auf den Wald das Highlight. Die Schränke sind groß, es gibt einen Föhn und sogar Adapterstecker für italienische Steckdosen. Patrizia hat an alles gedacht. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Im Haus und auf den Terrassen gibt es überall gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten. Der Pool ist absolut toll mit Blick auf den Wald. Für die Kinder waren die verschiedenen Tiere sehr interessant, die auch ums Haus herum lebten. Es gibt eine Tischtennisplatte, Schaukel und eine Wippe. Im Wald gibt es viele Wege, die zum Entdecken einladen. Ein Schmuckstück zum Entspannen und wohl fühlen! Die Umgebung ist sehr vielseitig. Strand und Stadt sind nah.

Idyllisch!
Die Unterkunft ist recht abseits gelegen und die Anfahrt über die Serpentinen und das Geröll den Berg hoch schon etwas beschwerlich. Wir mussten etwas weiter unten parken, da unser Auto (ohne Allradantrieb) zu schwer war, um bis an die Unterkunft direkt heranzufahren. Wenn man aber angekommen ist, hat man seine absolute Ruhe. Abseits vom Alltag und von Touristen kann man entspannen und vor allem den herrlichen Pool nutzen. Die gesamte Kommunikation lief auf Englisch und problemlos. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Ganz herzlichen Dank!

Dejligt ophold
Vi havde et skønt ophold. Dejlig fred og ro - dog er der ingen internet eller telefonforbindelse, det var lidt ærgerligt, da det er svært at planlægge udflugter mv. samt at ingen kunne komme i kontakt med os. Ellers fantastisk pool og smukkeste udsigt

Traumhaft schönes Haus in sehr ruhigen Lage mit Natur
Das Haus in der Toscana ist traumhaft gelegen. Ruhe, Natur, und alles was der Mesch braucht um zu entspannen. Zudem sind viele tolle Orte wie Pisa, Lucca, Florence, livorno und und ganz in der Nähe um tolle Erlebnisse zu genießen. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen. Traumhafte Lage, tolle Vermieterin
Wer Ruhe sucht mit einem tollen Blick, in einer rundum gepflegten Unterkunft und einer wirklich freundlichen, bemühten Vermieterin ist hier richtig. Sehr schönes Objekt
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche bei perfektem Wetter. Die Lage ist idyllisch, aber auch sehr abgelegen - das muss man mögen ("mal eben" einkaufen oder zum Bäcker geht nicht). Die absolute Ruhe am Wochenende der Anreise wurde dann in die Woche doch teilweise durch die Arbeiten in Steinbruch, der sich an der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Tales befindet beeinträchtigt. Das Haus, die gesamte Anlage - insbesondere der Poolbereich - sind sehr schön und gepflegt; Patricia als Gastgeberin ist super.

Traumlage in den toskanischen Hügeln
Eine fantastische Aussicht haben wir von dort oben genossen, abends das Zirpen der Grillen gehört und sich mitten in der Natur gefühlt, ein Superurlaubsgefühl. Die Anfahrt war nicht ganz einfach, besonders die beiden Hinweisschilder in Metall nach Serore hätten wir fast übersehen, Patrizia hat aber alles sehr genau beschrieben, damit hat es gut geklappt. Patrizia war eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereits Gastgeberin, auf alle Fragen haben wir per Whats up umgehend eine Antwort bekommen. Die Ausstattung der Küche und des Hauses waren super, die Betten und Matratzen sehr gut wir haben gut geschlafen....insgesamt ein toller Urlaub mit zusätzlich noch Pool und Tischtennisplatte hatten wir auch dort oben noch etliche Freizeitaktivitäten.....danke Patritzia.....
