"We stayed there for a week, and everything was ready and clean when we arrived. Each day, we were given two bottles of water, which was a nice touch. The pool and hot tub area were always clean and well-maintained, and there was never any noise after 10 p.m.—even before that, it was pretty quiet. The best part was being right on the beach with easy access. It made our stay really relaxing. "

"Really cool place. The property was gorgeous.. right on the beach! We saw staff constantly cleaning or tidying up. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The Hotel is right on the beach and more than enough space for guests to spread out. We loved the chairs and table right outside our sliding glass door. That was nice for those beautiful sunrises/sunsets. The restaurant upstairs was delicious, some of the best food in town. The restaurant staff was also very nice, particularly the young man who was our server multiple nights. We enjoyed coffee in the morning from the cafe downstairs. My husband fly fished from the beach every morning/evening and it was “some of the craziest fishing he’s ever done” The location is perfect, right on the beach but close enough to town that we walked there everyday and didn’t feel the need to get a rental vehicle. My husband is already planning another trip back! We will most definitely recommend Playa Del Sol to anyone. Thank you for such an amazing and memorable Birthday! "

"We had a wonderful stay as a group of three families with an age range of kids from 6-17. The relative remoteness of the location facilitated just hanging out close to home. Certainly ordering in the meals was an excellent choice as they were friendly and delicious and just meant less worrying about cooking and dishes. The house is a bit of a rough ride on a dirt road so it takes some time to get too and fro which also lends itself to just staying put although we did a day excursion to the west coast. Octavio was an excellent resource for shuttling around but make sure you bring lots of US cash to pay for everything. The house was spacious and well equipped and the proximity to the beach was the best part. We were treated to lots of nature shows and beautiful sunrises with the pelicans and fish feedings along the shore and dolphins and whales playing off shore. The hotel was also a good resource for their restaurant. All in all, it was an excellent place to just kick back and relax. "

"Loved this place so much! The rooms are small and a little dated and no fridge but since the restaurant on site was so good and fair priced it wasn't much of an issue. The food and drinks are excellent. The beach is empty and peaceful. Water is super safe for swimming. You can even feel the hot spring water in the sand on the shoreline. Amazing. Will for sure stay here again"
