"Beautiful property, manage by owner. Rooms are newly renovated, with modern touch, though some renovated building are from the 15th century. Love the peaceful landscape, with a quiet, small town nearby. Staff were very accomodating. Would come back again if I am ever in this area. Highly recommended."

"Looking for a suitable place to stay overnight before catching the cross channel ferry, we settled on the historic town of Sees (acute accent over firs 'e') with its magnificent twin towered cathedral. Our accommodation at Le Bourg in the little village of Aunou sur Orne is about 56km east from the town and, dating from the 15C, has been restored quite beautifully. "This little gem is amazing! We booked it for a last minute stay when we found ourselves in the area and it was getting late and we were tired of driving. What a pleasant surprise! The rooms was absolutely adorable. Loved the attention to detail! It was so clean! We had a really lovely stay and will definitely be back next time we are in the area! "

"Ideal location to break your journey from southern France to the ports in northern France. Stayed a number of times & found the hotel as described, easy to find, ample parking, well located; near major road links, petrol stations & restaurants. Breakfast is nice too. Even has a larger pump behind reception! "

"Very helpful Staff, clean room and public areas, dog firendly, free parking adjacent to the hotel. My personal opinion is that the Dinner and Breakfast costs are too high for a 3* Hotel. The qualioty of food was excellent but as a traveller staying only for 1 night I did not need such expensive meal options. In fact I declined breakfast because of the cost"

"We absolutely love this property. This is our 3rd stay here. It has olde world charm, beautiful ambiance, lovely staff, lots of amenities and dog friendly. What’s not to like. All guests meet for drinks prior to dinner and eat at the same time. Unusual, yes but it works. "

Perche farmhouse

"House and surroundings were lovely but wouldn’t sleep 17. We were worried we wouldn’t find enough to do but that wasn’t the case. However, Mele (the nearest town) was a little disappointing as most of the businesses were closed for a few weeks while we were there, in August but we had a lovely stay and the owner was very helpful."
