Quality stay in 2023 was impressive so I revisited for 2 nights. The service this time, however, disappointed me indeed.
Overwhelming messages to confirm check-in time. Their strong preference is arrival before 6pm. I arrived at 5:45pm but the reception was CLOSED! Check-in was finally conducted by restaurant staff. I’ve reserved breakfast buffet at $35 via the reception but Wild Swan charged me $39 as no appointment was recorded. Needed clarification to charge $35 finally.
No bottles of water and body wash were refilled after room make-up on the 2nd day. These items could be provided but guests should do self pick-up at restaurant.
The bedcover had a clear stain in orange colour but Maya Maya still used it. I took photos for record coz I’m afraid Maya Maya would charge me later on.
I kept sliding doors & net closed all the time but lots of flying insects still accessed room inside. A cockroach-like insect 1.5cmx1cm in size was drowned inside my red wine glass. Terrible!
My check-in was Thursday & I had dinner at HOMESTEAD Brewery that evening. After ordering GRILLED LAMB CHOPS at $39, I noted that a TV monitor shows occasionally “$25 WAGYU STEAK NIGHT FROM 4PM” for Thursdays. Staff would never provide promotion information when taking order. I got 4 bites by insects during dinner. Asked staff whether they could provide repellent, they said no definitely. No care about guests on a general need at all.
Just expect a reasonable service at quality vineyard.
