We loved staying here and had a lovely time. We enjoyed the beautiful views and convenient location. It had everything we needed and I was happy I could bring my dog. One small problem was the bathroom light was not working but otherwise we had everything we needed. Thank you.

Lovely home on banks of estuary. Walking distance to shops and cafes and attractions. Large, fenced garden with beautiful views of Dolphin Quay. Great layout of house - super family friendly.

Location and value for money
This house is in a great location within a 10 minute walk to Dolphin Quay, with direct water access (gated) if you want to kayak. It was so nice sitting on the deck overlooking the water. It’s older style but this is reflected in the cost, and it’s spacious with good furnishings and all you need. Note that access to the downstairs 4th bedroom/ table tennis room and to the 2nd bathroom/Laundry is external.

Exactly what I was looking for. A tidy, clean and modern beach shack with a view overlooking the marina. Walking distance to everything- the bridge, esplanade and the marina. I’ll be coming back.

The Very best of Locations
This house is located right on the water, so the children could kayak and swim all day from the private beach, we could also tie up our 25' boat with ease to the shore and as it is so protected no worries with drift. A great beach house in a fantastic location, close to everything at Dolphin Quay. The house offered everything you could need and more, thank you we will definitely be back and recommend it to our friends.

School spring break
We had a lovely stay in Mandurah particularly notable because I hadn’t read the listing properly and Shona very calmly helped me through the check in process. The house was perfect for our needs. The kids took the kayaks on the marina and we relaxed on the deck. Mandurah was such an easy place to be and I felt comfortable giving the girls (both12) the freedom to investigate on their own

I think this is the 4th time we have stayed. A few maintenance issues that were advised. Only negative is you need shade on the deck out the back. We set up our gazebo but would be great if we didn’t have to take.

Should have been communicated that the hot water system needed to be on as we had cold showers first night, but was resolved with a phone call to agent. The property was lovely and clean old and a little worn but awesome location Have not ever done this before so a couple of things came as a shock like paying extra for sheets and towels and beds to be made up And having to clean before I leave but we all pitched in and it was a breeze to do

The only issue I had was the stairs for my 86 year old father but in fairness the I hadn't mentioned I was taking an elderly person, perhaps it could be mentioned in the description. The house is in a wonderful location, walking distance to all the main entertainment precincts in Mandurah and the beach. The house is very comfortable with good kitchen facilities, comfy beds and a lovely deck and sun room. It does need a little upgrading however. The second bathroom and toilet is only accessible from the outside down a flight of stairs so was not ideal for our situation. This was not well explained in the ad description.

Unfortunately the property was advertised as dog friendly which is not the case. The property is not fenced properly in the back yard which resulted in my dog getting out. The property backs onto the water as well as a main road. My dog was nearly hit by cars which caused a very unpleasant stay, we ended up leaving the property a lot earlier then we had booked for because I did not feel safe staying at the property after this point.

Great location
Location was great… short walk to Town Beach, the public jetty, the foreshore and cafes. We caught fish and crabs off the public jetty and also directly from the house’s shore. The house itself is old but neat and tidy. All the amenities and appliances worked perfectly. We found it had everything we needed for our stay. Our kids really loved the big front and back yard, and access to the water from the property. A couple of things to be aware of with the property though… there are quite a few stairs at the front of the house leading to an ageing deck so probably not great for elderly guests or those with a baby and pram etc. Also, the life jackets for the kayak are very old and no longer safe to use, neither is the ping pong table.
