"This location was absolutely perfect for a combination of winery tours and hiking. It is tucked away off the road for a wonderful sense of privacy. The overall house was immaculately clean and sparkled just like in the photos. Kitchen was very large with two sink areas for prep. The professional stove took a minute to figure out but then cooking was a breeze. The only issue we had in the kitchen is that we never did figure out how to turn on the lights above the stove. "We stayed at this property for my birthday weekend and it was fabulous! We cooked several meals and the kitchen had EVERYTHING! The house is nestled in the woods, with beautiful surroundings and the house is so cozy. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We absolutely loved the property. It sits right on a pond that my two sons fished on everyday. They caught bass crappie and blue gill. The house was very spacious and clean. I was shocked to not see ANY bugs since it is in a wooded area. Major plus!!! The kitchen had everything we needed. The host very responsive when we needed her. The lakes were about 15 min away, shopping was about 25 min away. There are plenty of wineries and hikes. I do recommend going to giant city and eating at the lodge...

"Property was amazing as were the hosts. We stayed for a week and had family and friends over the course of the week. It was a perfect venue with a large kitchen to gather with anything you could possibly need (including a drawer full of spices in case you forgot something ;), a game room for hanging/playing games, and the living room has a large TV and surround sound with a huge sofa so we enjoyed watching a movie or two. The owner makes things easy for those who stay from her communication with you to the checkout process. The amenities are amazing. We had a great time and we will stay again!"

"Ashley was always quick to respond with questions that I had! We had everything we needed and the house was ready for us! The kitchen was an open concept with the living room, which was very nice! The house situated on a dead end and it was very quiet and peaceful! Nice to set on the front porch where you could see the lake and watch the deer! Would definitely recommend this nice home!"

"The property was nice. We had no issues at all. The property manager was very accommodating and communicated with us promptly. Definitely a great place to stay if you like the feeling of being at a clubhouse. The cabin itself was nice. It could use a few updates. The front porch and back deck was a little rough looking, but the inside was nice and clean. The one bedroom is huge. You could fit a few full size air-mattresses on there along with the bed, and the bathroom attached is also huge....

Bird watchers will especially love the barn willows, red headed woodpeckers, blue grosbeak, Bobwhite, and more. Stores and the historic downtown of Saint Genevieve are just a short drive away.
