"The kids joined us for a weekend on our sailboat, this was the perfect spot to get together after a long day on the water. My one son set a new record on the PAC Man and the other caught a beautiful bass off the dock. The river view from the sunroom is spectacular! Everyone always migrated there. Great time had by all. We will be back in the fall."

"Three generations from PA, CO and VT all converged on the "Top of the Chesapeake" and had a lovely time. This is a stellar place for bird watching since it's between a creek and the upper Bay ("river".) Kayaks were a hit with 12 year olds and their parents. The owner's very reasonable rules and guidelines were so easy and he was available for help. Highly recommend this place!"

"Waterview cottage is comfortable and very clean. The accommodations look new and we had good sleep. The kitchen has most of the necessary equipment for meal preparation. A baking sheet pan is needed. WiFi and Roku TV was excellent. The primary bedroom bed was so tall/high my wife could not get in or out of it. That necessitated sleeping in the 2 twins. "One of the best hotels we stayed at while there for baseball. Staff was friendly and efficient when asked for something. The outdoor pool was clean and perfectly for the kids. The continental breakfast was just like any other but the only downfall it didn’t open until 7 and we had to be at the field at 7. Other than that it was a really decent place to stay! "
