"The pictures does not do this place justice. It is unbelievable beautiful. We had to pinch ourselves that we were actually there throughout the week! The couple Jorge and Victoria keep the place immaculate and they could charge an entrance to those gardens. It is like the garden of Eden. We would love to return!"

"Stayed initially for three night but enjoyed it so much we had two more nights there. The apartments are well appointed and quite private. The rooms were spacious and well fitted with a jacuzzi in the bedroom. Quiet in grounds of large house on outskirts of Vila de Punhe about 4miles from Viana do Castelo. Easy access to the town. The staff were very nice and the owner was very helpful. The views were lovely over the area and vineyards. Everything worked well and had no problems."

"This property was amazing! Beyond gorgeous! Josè was extremely attentive and fixed anything that was needed. The only negative was although a couple fans were provided, it was extremely hot so we actually bought screens for a few of the windows to allow for air and to prevent bugs. "

"We have a large family consisting of married couples and some with children and so we offered it is an open house to arrive and depart when you want over the three weeks that we hired the property in August and it did not disappoint. A 50 minute taxi ride from Porto we spent the first two weeks just using Ubers to get into Viana which is about a 10 minute drive away and the amazing beaches which straddle each side of the town, the final week we did hire a car. "We spent two nights in August at this villa and would have liked to stay longer. It's well equipped and very comfortable, and although there were only three of us there is plenty of room for six people. The villa is about a 20 mins walk to the beach if you don't want to drive. Lucilia, our host was there at the same time and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for your hospitality - the confiture was delicious!"

Pousada de Viana do Castelo - Historic Hotel

"It’s all about the location at the top of a mountain overlooking a jewel box of a church. This grand hotel was built in the early 1900’s. It has been renovated but is definitely an older property. Room was comfortable and the view was AMAZING. Breakfast was wonderful. "

Excelente estadía .

"Los funcionarios de recepción super atentos, el lugar moderno y muy confortable. En la sala de estar del lobby se ofrece servicio 24 hs de bebidas calientes ( café, te ) y jugos fríos , además de agua , todo totalmente gratuito. La calefacción en el lugar es estupenda. Que más decir, todo estupendo! "

"I stayed in this fabulous chocolate hotel in early October when I was walking on the Camino way. After a 10 mile day of walking, it was wonderful to get there and berated with a wine spritzer with chocolate shavings, delicious chocolate bar, and a beautiful hotel. The breakfast was included and was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend this place. "

"This is a really fun place to stay. We stayed there as we were walking on the Camino Way and it was in a perfect location. The staff was great. They did not have an open restaurant, although they had a small dining area with a limited menu and were very kind to make us salads and quiches. If our feet hadn’t hurt so bad, we could have walked to several restaurants in the area."
