"Had a wonderful stay and romp in the spring snow. Probably the best appointed kitchen we've experienced so far. House is full of character, quirks and picturesque surroundings as well as thoughtful elements for both humans and canines. Perfect location for exploring, skiing or good old relaxation. Loved the streams, covered bridge and variety of eggs available up and down the road!"

"We have a lovely quick trip to Perkins Pond. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved being able to take a morning canoe ride. My young son loved all the games to play with. I highly recommend staying here and hope to come back again soon!"

"Location was awesome, house met the description and was comfortable. Stayed with dog and 3 kids. Doors (or walls?) were a little drafty in the winter, but heating seemed to be ok. Heated floors in bathrooms were really nice. Suggest more than 2 dishwasher tabs per renter. Basement is quite cold but we didn't need to use it for sleeping. Still, 5 stars, great property and would stay again."

"We came for my cousin’s wedding and the location was great! 8 minutes from the hotel that extended family was staying at, 15 minutes from the wedding venue and 20 mins from my Uncle & Aunt’s house. We are quite familiar with the area and were delighted to be able to swim at Quechee Falls (about a 2 minute drive) this trip due to the dry season. Lovely grand historic hotel
"Stayed in a queen bed room in this lovingly maintained historic hotel in NH on my way to Vermont. It is definitely old, and a bit worn, but the bed was comfy, the towels fluffy and big, the shower had plenty of hot water, and the huge carved wooden staircase banisters and sitting areas on all three floors were beautiful and comfortable. I hope I get a chance to come back here. Oh … the surrounding blocks of stores and small restaurants, community theaters, art spaces, etc were a nice background for strolls, walks, jogs, whatever you like."
