The host made many updates and additions still keeping the feeling of the original house. "I can only say that this house is a dream. If you want to relax but still feeling like at home this is the place. The house is in an amazing country environment and the house itself is very nice and every detail is thought with attention and elegance. The owner is very kind and provides you with all the information about Crete in advance. Lots of parking, good restaurant on site, and really friendly staff who arranged a baby cot and chair well before we checked in! Only thing is the rooms have a slightly dated decor. "I had torn my achilles tendon just before my stay here so accessibility was an issue to some degree. No rooms had ramps or had ground floor accessibility. Other than that, the staff were great, breakfast was fantastic. Lunch was meh, dinner was really nice at the stone restaurant. My family had rented a car so we were a short 20 min drive into old town Chania which was gorgeous. "
