A tranquil setting as soon as you turn into the driveway. There's a nice dock to tie up your lake toys, a gorgeous deck to just hang out, have a BBQ and watch the eagles soar by or within a few minutes drive in any direction are several "lake towns".
We enjoyed the "cabin" and all of it's roominess. The kitchen with new refrigerator was equipped with the necessary amenities such as a keurig coffee maker with coffee pods at the ready. ;o)
Family dinners became awesome get-togethers using the gas grill that's available, with plenty of seating in the morning room w/ a table which could seat 12(or 14 by squeezing). The deck too provided a great venue for breakfast and game time both on the table with umbrella or the builtin bar with stools.
The beds were comfortable and fans in each room helped cool things on those warm nights. There's a A/C unit for the main floor if needed too. (If you are having screen time withdraws there's several TV's and yes there's WiFi.
Bathrooms w/ showers a plenty, 3 to be exact and towels to go around. A washer/dryer unit to keep the laundry contained is a bonus.
The owners were gracious, first to reach out and let us know they were available should we need anything and quick in responding to any inquiry.
A little rain didn't discourage us as we were able to head to the huge Sports Court on the property. We held Ping Pong tournaments as well as shot hoops.
We toured the area and enjoyed strolling downtown Perham, ate at some local favorites- Big Pine Lodge, Brew Ales & Eats, Lakes Cafe, Zorbaz and a new brewery Disgruntled Brewing, as well as Skal Bar & Grill in Vergas just to name a few.
There's always something going on like the Perham Turtle races on Wednesday mornings during the summer.
If your intention is to meet up with family, to meet new lake friends or just relax alone to refresh, this cabin has it all.
