"We stayed in a duplex two bedroom 1 & 1/2 bathroom unit. We were pleasantly surprised. It was a modestly decorated/furnished unit, very large and very clean. The kitchen was equipped with plates, glasses etc, all were crystal clean. The room was spotless. If you walk through the back courtyard, there is a little foot path that leads to their huge parking lot. "Astir was literally across the street from the ocean. I did not have a full ocean view from my room, but I could see it from my balcony on the side of the building. It was a single room, so the bathroom was small, but the bed was comfortable. It was a lovely room for the price. The staff were very nice and friendly. There was a bar open in the afternoon/evening with a wonderful view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again. "

"As the booking was made we had a very good instinct that this was the right property. From viewing the pictures we were not expecting the Kitchenette, we were able to eat cooked breakfasts and dinners on the balconies and made our trips easier and lighter to focus on activities. "My wife and I stayed here for two weeks in September 2024. We loved it. We had a 1 bedroom junior suite with a sea view. The apartment is on the second floor. If you have any mobility problems, please note that there is no lift. The location of the complex is excellent, right on the sea front. The beach, as with many on Kefalonia is stony. "The Anchor Suite was modern and spacious with a large walk in shower, comfortable bed and balcony overlooking the marina. It faced east so we had morning sunshine then shade. The staff, located in the travel centre beside the main door, were very friendly and helpful. Parking is limited on the road outside so we learned to time our arrival back in town between 5 and 6. We would definitely come back again. "

"Comfortable rooms. We had a patio with fabulous sunset views. Need a car as the walk uphill can be taxing in the heat. Plenty of room for parking. Staff at the sister hotel were helpful.
