"Nice place to stay, location was amazing. This is a bit inconvenient if you are traveling for a shorter stay, because you have to check in about a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment. The only issue we had was the couch had dog hair on it and it transferred to dark clothing. This was the only thing that wasn’t ideal. "

"Nice apartment with air conditioning and pleasant staff. A short walk from Tamariu beach. "

"We had a lovely time. The apartments are in an excellent location with easy access to a store and a few restaurants. The shared garden is awesome for kids and with a 15 minute walk you can get to the beach. The staff was super nice. The beds were "on the harder side". We spend around 8 days there. During the week, it was calm and peaceful. In the weekend there was some partying and noise."

"Used this hotel as a base for a weekend wedding. The hotel has a lovely village nearby with nice places to eat and a stunning beach town that is only just under a 10 minute drive away. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on food however the apartments were large, spacious, clean and comfy. Definitely good value for money. "

"The apartment had a horrid musky damp smell, that permitted throughout the stay. Half the lights and plugs didn't work. There is no air con, and the ceiling fan is weak making the apartment sauna like conditions and extremely uncomfortable. The wardrobes, cupboards and draws were not clean and covered in dust, and needing to be cleaned before unpacking suitcases. No sunbeds around the pool, leaving towels and feet covered in dirt from the grass, and being transferred in to the pool / apartments....

"Simply excellent. We booked a full week at the Marconia, staying in a 2 bed with our young child and a friend and found the whole experience wonderful. "The stone villa is one of the most unique stays we’ve ever had and may ever have. It’s located in a castle town in the middle of the beautiful country side. The house is large and the pool is nice if it’s hot outside. The only negative is that the bedroom and hallway on the kitchen floor has a strong sewage odor. It was hard to be in that area and this issue should be addressed. "

Amazing view

"The Hostalilo hotel offers a pleasant experience with a stunning view that allows guests to fully enjoy the surroundings. A comfortable stay in Girona

"The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and very clean. It is a 10 minute walk to the old town and a 5 minute walk to the train station. The neighborhood has cafes and stores, including a supermarket a few paces from the front door. Clean towels every three days, no coffee/kettle in the room, but otherwise perfectly acceptable."

"Wonderful property that's close to old town site seeing but not loud that can happen if you're in the middle of everything. Being on top of the hill has the advantage of best place to see the city below and sunset from the beautiful roof top terrace over the mountains on the other side of the city. The location also can make it a bit difficult to walk bach to hotel as other reviews have noted. It's not that bad and if needed you can stop to catch your breath on one of the walls. It is a very short walk to the shops and restaurants down in the old town area. Everything was well cared for and clean. They have an online restaurant and bar so you don't need to head down again if you want to stay there in the evening. Area seems safe and is residential so no need to worry about being out late at night. Highly recommend this modern friendly hotel!"
